I've been working on this deck and these are the budget overperformers - either already in the Pre-con or should be added: Serpent-Blade Assailant, Death-Greeter's Champion (dashing him for the Backup trigger gets gross when you target Bright-Palms), Forgotten Ancient, Managorger Hydra, Sunscorch Regent, Loyal Guardian, Conclave Sledge-Captain, Shalai and Hallar, Abzan Falconer, Conclave Mentor, Mikaus the Luminarch, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Cursed Mirror. And one MUST play: Damning Verdict. Shalai and Hallar is SOO strong and COULD be a good commander option instead of Bright-Palms, but that one almost screams "Must Play Combo" which isn't my style.
I get that... It's funny how the prices of product vary from store-to-store as well. Certain TCG's I'll purchase at one store (or online) over another. 👀
I don’t personally evaluate it highly here, but you can definitely put it back in. I know folks like it and Panharmonicon in the deck, and I tend to like Strionic’s targets more (for the attack triggers as well, though at a cost). Up to you! I was prioritizing flickers and tutors for said flickers, as those will be more consistent in the deck, but an additional effect like Strionic is good 👍
@@xero1134 Haha, every time there's a new keyword, I have to read it several times for it to actually stick... I totally get that. There was a Strionic in the deck, but I think Panharmonicon > for sure.
@Local Game Guy I'm definitely not opposed to a strionic in that list! Another card that I think could get slotted in would be Towashi Guide-Bot. Not amazing but tap to draw a card ability with an etb counter adder feels nice on a budget
@@xero1134 Hmm, so the nearest parallel to Towashi is Mindless Automaton (in the list)... They're both good in separate scenarios... I'm not sure where I'd slot Towashi, but in a long game I can see that activated being just a tap away. Good suggesting on an additional draw though! Honestly, every deck could use more, haha. Also, 4 is high but it being generic is easy to accommodate.

This is definitely the deck I was looking at, and I also knew blink was going to be big!
Honestly, pack in as much as you can… The triggers from Bright-Palm can get outta control. The fact that there’s built-in evasion is also really nice.
Would be awesome to see one of these with the other commander from this precon Shalai and Halar.

Why would you cut the strionic? It's amazing.
