This video actually answered a couple questions I had about fitting a ball, but I’m still curious, how do you measure what pitch angle to drill for the thumb and fingers? I understand there’s forward, reverse, and no pitch, but is it an actual measurement or just a feel

So for first time recreational woman with a conventional grip you measure span same way about 1/4" down from 2nd knuckle and should both fingers and thumb be reverse pitch? 6-8# ball is all they say they can hold and throw comfortable

Why would you not just mark the sides of the thumb with with yellow pencil and put the thumb in the ball?
