Exactly how I do it also but I don't use the initial band the twisting will center and base your hair and you can go looser if you don't want a tension headache all day from a super tight bun

I love the longhairs and their ties. I only have one problem with the ties and it's not even becuase of the ties. My hands and wrists are too big for the ties. I'm not able to just slide it off my wrist like Rubio does. I have to set the tie on the counter, and then open it and pick it up with my finger tips. And because of that I'm not able to get a nice sleek look with them, most of the time. A 5-7mm increase in circumference might be a beautiful evolutionary step for hair ties for guys. But still, I love my jolly Roger's set ! and your vids are great! Definitely enjoy the amalgam of long hair and professionalism you guys created with your brand and getting away from the stereotypical perception of guys with long hair.

okay..... but like how is this any different from a girls bun? its don't the exact same way all that was changed was the hair ties, also anybody and any gender could wear those.
