Bro i used to have long hair from my teenage years. Used to be around 15 inch, 22 at it's longest. About a year ago i decided to buzz my hear and donate it to the cancer foundation in the Netherlands. Since corona i've been buzzing my hair but recently i'm starting to miss my long hair. It almost feels like i lost part of my identity even though i know that's bullshit. I think i'm going long again and that's also because of you. Your videos have had a major impact on my life for the past years. I'm almost 32 and i've been through a lot but you always give me a major confident boost and other life related issues or whatever. I started growing out my hair literally the same time as you and my hair length is exactly the same now. Man bun really does slap, it's amazing how easy it is to style too.

@@acupofjoe7658you should, I have similar hair and I follow a simple routine, wash thrice a week on alternate days, use just shampoo or you can use conditioner after that too after your hair is above 3 inches of length. Simply get out of the bathroom, dampen your hair and apply 4 to 5 drops of oil if you have 2 to 3 inches of hair on that slightly wet hair and do a slick back then let it dry, keep running your fingers towards the back, in summary:
Wash with shampoo (conditioner if you want)
Dry around 50% and apply light quantity oil, comb it all back, let air dry.

I've been rocking a man bun at least a few days every week for the last 2 weeks. I was nervous about trying it at first, but once I did it, wore it like that to work, I got soo many compliments on it. I still have some fly aways but the molding pastes and sprays I used just make it too stiff and started hurting after a few hours. I'll definitely have to invest in better products now that I have luscious locks lol.

Start using castor oil and learn how to use it properly. Beleive me, its name should literally be magical oil.

On June 3rd it'll be 3 years since I've been growing my hair out. It's been the best experience with my hair in my whole life! I grew out my hair in march 2020 right when the pandemic started and never cut it since. It's past my shoulders now and I like it cause I can do different styles in a bun, half bun or wear it down. I say don't cut it yet but maintain the length otherwise if you feel for a change go for it but for now just enjoy it!! ✌️

I'm quite slick doing buns, I got three daughters. Although I bloody hate hair bands, I find them in every nook and cranny of the house. Also, no one tells you the amount of hair that drops out. Our carpet upstairs like a fur ball, I'm forever vacuuming the carpet.

After that I think my favorite hairstyle of yours was what you had at the beginning of last summer, slightly swoopy and not super short on the sides. Up to you though! 2 years down the road and this video helped me figure out how to style my hair because bro my current length is literally dead on your measurements from this video (I also had an undercut leading into this so my sides took longer to grow than the long part left on top).
i did mine without any research, but you nailed the process in one alex, including the stuggle of bad hair day's and wearing hats everywhere, then constant criticism from family and friends, now i eventually grew it out, i'm getting comments like "have you lost weight?" "you look well"
