the video has a lot of misleading stuff as the pictures and animations in the video shows, but main stuff is most likely correct. 505 CONFIRMED kills, simo himself said it was probably near 600 kills with his rifle, also there was 250+ kills with suomi KP (smg) for some facts: he put snow in his mouth so the breath wont be shown to the enemy, as well as he didnt use scope because his head would be much higher than with iron shights AND scope could have reflected the sun glare to the enemy and make them to spot him easily. many enemy snipers did this and well... it did not end well for them :D there is whole book of life of Simo Häyhä. it is well worth buying and reading it :)
Well its kinda obvious the videos and pictures wouldnt be accurate but sad that they didnt use more accurate pictures of like say an soumi mp instead of the american mg. Sadly all videos on utube on Häyhä has this the exakt same info but also some disinformation that change here and there.

The sad part of this story is that after World War II, the Finnish communists started threatening Simo because of his wartime actions. He was so afraid that he hardly dared to live in his own house, preferring to stay at his parents' house and avoid large "crowd gatherings" for the rest of his life. Sad but true story :(
