I think part of why I enjoy this channel so much is it feels very genuine. Nothing feels forced for content it's just us hanging out with Robbie and his friends.
The reason you guys had such a good experience with that vinyl, is because its Avery Dennison. Its literally the thinnest professional vinyl and easiest to work with and super friendly for people starting out in wrapping. I would definitely recommend Avery for a first timer attempting to wrap an entire vehicle. That honeycomb you were referring to was the air release that is glue thats printed onto the back of the good vinyls (3m, Avery, Vvivvid). If you want some great info on vehicle wrapping check out CK Wraps channel. Hes up in Canada as well cant remember which part though. Would love to see a series of vids were you guys wrap the Civic!
Avery is s good wrap company; also worth just running some heat over the whole thing to activate the glue. But good job otherwise, nicely done 👍🏼
I wrapped the roof of my civic with vivid carbon fiber wrap. First time ever doing it & it came out perfect no bubbles or nothing and it's been on about 6 months 👍

You could totally wrap the civic by yourself! I did it with a friend on his VW scirocco and it turned out great! As long as like you said, you get some quality warp it's no problems!
I spent $20 on vivid wrap which is “cheap” but it’s lasting me a while (6months plus) but the quality of that “real” wrap (I’m guessing 3M) looks really good

I was inspired by the suede 240 door cards, so I did mine and made a suede shift boot with purple stitching to match the Dnd wheel on my 240. You guys should do some suede shift boots. Love the videos by the way👍

Not sure how it compares for quality as I have never used Avery wrap, but I've used VViViD a lot and it's awesome stuff. Really nice quality, and holds up well. :) And they have a Canadian site, which is sweet.

Not sure what you know about vinyl or not, but I work at a sign shop and do a lot of vinyl so I just wanted to mention that it is way easier to lay it wet. We use a spray mix of alcohol, dawn dish soap, and water. Works great, just just gotta use a felt squeegee to work the water/bubbles out.
This is not the type of vinyl you lay wet. Any film produced by Avery, Vvivvid, or 3m is dry application.

I've used the ebay wrap black matte and black carbonfiber, and it bubbless because the application is wrong, you have to press down every piece of wrap and use heat gun to remove any bubbles

The “eBay” vinyls are specifically for interior. Those are for exterior which is why it’s thick..

Don't wrap shitty stuff, just paint it. It's cheaper, easier to put on, it'll be easier to maintain, and it'll last longer.
The one and only reason to 'wrap' anything is if you fully plan on it being temporary and will be going back to the original.

So, by real wrap, you mean use wrap by a recognised manufacturer as opposed to some sketchy dude on eBay? Not exactly accurate as I use wrap from eBay and it always comes out perfectly fine. Depends on how you lay it and how it's done...
