Interesting video, i liked the interpretation of the myths on the drawings, my algorithm finally recommends "unknown" content out of the typical, like this

Totally right on the last part about the Ningen. the ocean is already creepy as hell and the fact that we only know like 20% of the absolute horrors in it?? geez i'll pass
    But really awesome video 🔥

Jinn granting wishes is not western lore.
In middle eastern lore, Jinn could be malevolent or benevolent.
The wishes are granted as rewards after passing tests of morality

That’s true, I was more so saying the depiction of them getting trapped in lamps and bottles were, but I could also be wrong! Thank you for commenting and letting me know!

      @@wimosuka Got ya.
Read "The Fisherman and the Jinni" when you get the chance.
It is from One Thousand and One Nights.
A fisherman fishes up a jar.
When he opens it it releases a Jinn.
The Jinn says that for the first 100 years he was imprisoned, he swore to bestow riches on whoever freed him.
He says that in the second 100 years he swore to grant three wishes to whoever freed him.
Finally he grew so irate that he swore he would grant whoever freed him their choice of death.
The fisherman tricks the Jinn back into the jar and recaps it.
While the fisherman doesn't get three wishes, we see it referenced, as well as being trapped in a vessel
Overall, loved the video by the way.

Wow that was so interesting! Thank you for letting me know! Do you have any myths you’d like me to cover if I made a part 2?
