Hey, I also bought 970 evo for my alpha r2 and I used the Samsung migration tool to migrate the OS partition to the new ssd. But the SSD is not showing up in my BIOS boot option list. Did you have this problem;? Thanks for sharing.
I did, right click start, and choose Disk Management and see if you see the new drive there. (Run windows from your old drive while doing this.)
What thermal results did you get from this? I installed an m.2 and the temps were crazy before had to put thermal pads and a heat sink on it.

Hey man can you do crystal disk mark and respond to me your write and read speeds. I want to know if the alphas motherboard supports nvme, so it doesn’t bog down a nvme drive so I can save money and just buy a sata m.2. Thanks!
