This is probably the best compliment we have received to date. Thank you very much for this! I do try and put great effort into giving the best Audio and video quality we can without over producing and making it seem more fabricated. We want people to feel comfortable with us and have the desire for people to see us as real as possible. Flawless perfection defined....period. one note off in a 2 hour set means these women are upset. LIVE the M&M show never disappoints, while polar opposites they battle, trade off and harmonize together like no other duo especially LIVE today. The drummer is not an android although a lot of people think so (LOL). Here in the middle of COVID restrictions ( less than 50% capacity, social distancing, no yelling or screaming but clapping only) they still brought the house down. Anything LIVE, except Bloodstock, will be just as exceptional. These women have no duds, they don't know what a filler is. They produce masterpieces, some more exceptional than others. Change of pace, Epilogue, Frozen Serenade or Swan Song with Chopin etude intro, of course LIVE is a must. People honestly protest that it is illegal to have this much talent in one band. Great reaction and the rabbit hole for LB is deep but all female J/Metal bands are an endless hole with exceptional talent.

Haruna (drums) always delivers as ordered. Any speed, at any length, it seems to me. U n b e l i e v a b l e. I call her "the human metronome". (In the respectful way, of course.) I concur also. Many great bands have one signature masterpiece - Stairway to Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody etc. Lovebites have A Frozen Serenade. Plus half a dozen more, and the list keeps growing!

The first time I saw these ladies was about 2 years ago in a video of the top female guitarists so I checked out this video and felt the same way you guys did. Ever since then it has been a fantastic journey that lead to Band-Maid, Nemophila, Hagane, Asterism, Ningen Isu and so many other Japanese rock/metal bands but Lovebites is by far my favorite. They are flawless live and Miyako (dark haired guitarist) was 5mos pregnant during this show and shredding Dimebag's Dean! She's a beast! Afterlife tribute band is right and you named some great musicians!! These ladies can go toe-to-toe with anyone and blow away most bands period. You definitely need to go with A Frozen Serenade live next (see requested many times in the comments), just to get the full affect of these ladies' capabilities. The afterlife tribute band is funny. They are effortless. I think the reason they are better live (for me) is their obvious passion for metal. The way these five ladies destroyed this thrashy tune with an attitude is a sheer delight. First of all, whatever your next live performance reaction is, it is preffered to be from the 2020 show, because unlike the mid-pandemic 2021 show, you would also be able to watch a normal interaction with the audience. Secondly, although it is natural for the guitar players to take most of the spotlight, what is out of this world in Lovebites live performances is Haruna's performance. Out of a 2-hour playlist of 20 songs, 18 of them have a consistant double base rythm. The stamina and consistency of this girl is unreal. No wonder she is called "the little big engine" and "the human metronome".🤘🐺🤘
For a perfect Show opener with "Thunder Vengance" or return after the break with "The Awakening/ The Hammer of Wrath" (one of the all Times best) and many more. If a slow one then "Epilogue", "Empty Daydream" or the masterpiece "A Frohen Serenade".

Yes, these women look so effortless and flawless. My next recommendations are “Break the wall”, “The Awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Dancing with the devil”, and for a different side of them “Epilogue”. All live (from concerts “Daughters of the dawn” and “Five of a kind”; please avoid Bloodstock because of bad audio).
I often think, that these Ladies work musical impossibilities and let it look easy. I find that simply outrageous - at least for anyone trying the same while making grim faces. 😂 I mean, do they go through some imaginary shopping lists in their minds, while shredding their instruments in an absolutely amazing way without breaking any sweat? 😂Al least Miyako (younger guitarist, black hair) always looks "kinda bored" while shredding. Like, "Thank you so much for admiring what I do, but, you know, we do this all the time, this is no big deal...", and so on. 😂 But it is an *extremely big* deal. To me, especially Miyako is a prodigy, and the entire band is another prodigy, too. And with their new bassist Fami, a further prodigy joined them, with the extremely obvious tendency to happily smile while shredding. 😂 These Ladies are a gift to the world of music. 🥲

They do live better than most bands I have ever seen. I'd say that Santana are probably similar in how clean great music can sound. I will say though that with the new album, no way I can say they are always better live. Judgement day is an amazing heavy album.
If you haven't done so already, I would strongly suggest you check out either "Edge of the World", "Frozen Serenade", or "Awakening/Hammer of Wrath" (in that order). The first 2 songs show a very unusual but also incredibly versatile aspect with things you may not have heard from them before and the final suggestion is another bone crusher of a performance. If you want to check out a song with vocal harmony "Empty Daydream" has that also. HOpe this helps.

Any and all morons who claim that Lovebites is only better live are full of it, I have been trying my hardest to put a stop to this claim as it affects new listeners from listening to or even buying the studio albums. This has become a fact with the new album and I for one am sick of it, so I beg you, dudes, to please stop making that claim. Everything Lovebites has put out is all equivalent to each other, there would be any live if there weren't any studio recordings this is logic and common sense.
What you say is true - the music they play is the same quality whether it is live or in the studio. I think why most people say they are better live is because you get the added visual effect. I don't think they feel the music is better, just the "show" is better, the performance as the whole package. I personally don't feel the quality of their music is better in a live format, because it is all the same as you said. I like watching them live because they are a joy to watch. They do make mistakes in the live shows on occasion but people tend to ignore that or they fail to hear it.

But the first 3 are not to my liking due to the too high mix of synthesizers sometimes even over guitars. That is what many people dislike and we prefer live performances due to the better mix. It is a matter of taste and in taste there is nothing written. The music, their talent is the same, the mix is not.

Flawless perfection defined....period. one note off in a 2 hour set means these women are upset. LIVE the M&M show never disappoints, while polar opposites they battle, trade off and harmonize together like no other duo especially LIVE today. The drummer is not an android although a lot of people think so (LOL). Here in the middle of COVID restrictions ( less than 50% capacity, social distancing, no yelling or screaming but clapping only) they still brought the house down. Anything LIVE, except Bloodstock, will be just as exceptional. These women have no duds, they don't know what a filler is. They produce masterpieces, some more exceptional than others. Change of pace, Epilogue, Frozen Serenade or Swan Song with Chopin etude intro, of course LIVE is a must. People honestly protest that it is illegal to have this much talent in one band. Great reaction and the rabbit hole for LB is deep but all female J/Metal bands are an endless hole with exceptional talent.

Haruna (drums) always delivers as ordered. Any speed, at any length, it seems to me. U n b e l i e v a b l e. I call her "the human metronome". (In the respectful way, of course.) I absolutely *admire* that. It is like becoming an Ironman in sports, I like to think: You can hardly learn that, you have to be made, to be born to do that.

The first time I saw these ladies was about 2 years ago in a video of the top female guitarists so I checked out this video and felt the same way you guys did. Ever since then it has been a fantastic journey that lead to Band-Maid, Nemophila, Hagane, Asterism, Ningen Isu and so many other Japanese rock/metal bands but Lovebites is by far my favorite. First of all, whatever your next live performance reaction is, it is preffered to be from the 2020 show, because unlike the mid-pandemic 2021 show, you would also be able to watch a normal interaction with the audience.
Secondly, although it is natural for the guitar players to take most of the spotlight, what is out of this world in Lovebites live performances is Haruna's performance. Out of a 2-hour playlist of 20 songs, 18 of them have a consistant double base rythm. The stamina and consistency of this girl is unreal. No wonder she is called "the little big engine" and "the human metronome".🤘🐺🤘
For a perfect Show opener with "Thunder Vengance" or return after the break with "The Awakening/ The Hammer of Wrath" (one of the all Times best) and many more. If a slow one then "Epilogue", "Empty Daydream" or the masterpiece "A Frohen Serenade".

Yes, these women look so effortless and flawless. My next recommendations are “Break the wall”, “The Awakening/Hammer of wrath”, “Dancing with the devil”, and for a different side of them “Epilogue”. All live (from concerts “Daughters of the dawn” and “Five of a kind”; please avoid Bloodstock because of bad audio).
I often think, that these Ladies work musical impossibilities and let it look easy. I find that simply outrageous - at least for anyone trying the same while making grim faces. 😂
I mean, do they go through some imaginary shopping lists in their minds, while shredding their instruments in an absolutely amazing way without breaking any sweat? 😂Al least Miyako (younger guitarist, black hair) always looks "kinda bored" while shredding. Like, "Thank you so much for admiring what I do, but, you know, we do this all the time, this is no big deal...", and so on. 😂 But it is an *extremely big* deal. To me, especially Miyako is a prodigy, and the entire band is another prodigy, too. And with their new bassist Fami, a further prodigy joined them, with the extremely obvious tendency to happily smile while shredding. 😂

They do live better than most bands I have ever seen. I'd say that Santana are probably similar in how clean great music can sound. I will say though that with the new album, no way I can say they are always better live. Judgement day is an amazing heavy album.
If you haven't done so already, I would strongly suggest you check out either "Edge of the World", "Frozen Serenade", or "Awakening/Hammer of Wrath" (in that order). The first 2 songs show a very unusual but also incredibly versatile aspect with things you may not have heard from them before and the final suggestion is another bone crusher of a performance. If you want to check out a song with vocal harmony "Empty Daydream" has that also. HOpe this helps.
Had to subscribe you two do a real good job and it seems those of us in the same age range are looking for that older heavy thrash and power we have been missing and these girls just come deliver the shot with those heels and we have our balls in our throats but were smiling and saying thank you for the kick we missed it they just that good at their craft

Any and all morons who claim that Lovebites is only better live are full of it, I have been trying my hardest to put a stop to this claim as it affects new listeners from listening to or even buying the studio albums. This has become a fact with the new album and I for one am sick of it, so I beg you, dudes, to please stop making that claim. Everything Lovebites has put out is all equivalent to each other, there would be any live if there weren't any studio recordings this is logic and common sense.
What you say is true - the music they play is the same quality whether it is live or in the studio. I think why most people say they are better live is because you get the added visual effect. I don't think they feel the music is better, just the "show" is better, the performance as the whole package. I personally don't feel the quality of their music is better in a live format, because it is all the same as you said. I like watching them live because they are a joy to watch. They do make mistakes in the live shows on occasion but people tend to ignore that or they fail to hear it.
@@ChadTheDragonLord As always, I am the one of contention. I disagree... The last album has a sensational mix, wonderful. But the first 3 are not to my liking due to the too high mix of synthesizers sometimes even over guitars. That is what many people dislike and we prefer live performances due to the better mix. @@ChadTheDragonLord I understand Chad, back then we didn’t have live footage or live music videos as we do today so our listening behavior was limited to hearing with our ears. Not until the 80s mtv vh1 came in and everyone was hooked in listening with their eyes
