    I got my badass wide wheel pro commuting to work 18 miles everyday.From queens to Manhattan New York. The powerful 1000 watts takes me there with no problem, hills and the 59 bridge are so easy. The wide wheels give you so much stability and I don’t worry getting late to work since I will never get a flat with the solid rubber wheels that’s the reason that I purchased this so cool looking scooter and I get compliments and people cheering me when I go fast on the NYC streets. I love it.

      Happy you are happy :)
      Can you share some insights on your weight and riding style (chill vs aggressive, speed)? For us and others to judge under what circumstances you can get 18 miles in range...

      fluidfreeride hi fluid riders I’m 185 pounds my style is cool lol I don’t know what you mean by style is it foot position ?
      I place my right foot straight and the left on the side like 11:50 on the clock .
      I usually start on a bike line on eco mode and sometimes in power mode so I can go fast in queens and since there is no traffic is fun to speed up.
      On eco mode It’s 9 miles to midtown so to come back to where I live in queens it’s a total of 18 miles.
      And Manhattan its so much fun on 5 Avenue or 6 Avenue a few plates usually pull up the front wheel up a little bit or jump on then so impact is minimum good suspension.
      The main reason I purchased a scooter was to avoid the NYC subway which is the worst in the world. Always dirty and overcrowded.
      I stopped taking the subway as you can see the news now it’s sadly filled with more homeless and less trains.
      I’m happy with my purchased I got my scooter from you Fluidfreerides.
      If anybody wants a scooter contact them my scooter arrived and it looks fantastic and like I said people compliment my cool looking scooter. Have a fast safe ride guys!

      Bry New York hi I’m having fun I wished I purchased one sooner when this pandemic started but it’s been 3 weeks now and it’s a solid reliable scooter very stable because of the wide wheels I’ll definitely recommend it. I live further east in queens. My friends at work said it looks like from a back to the future movie which I never recall seeing a scooter in that movie. I think they meant to say it looks like a badass futuristic scooter. Have fun riding one !

      @@fluidfreeride I made 26 miles in eco mode and 22 in power mode( riding aggressive in full speed 27-28 mph and some hill climbing). I weigh 182 pounds. I have it since 10 days. I am amazed with the performance, especially acceleration. I definitely recommend Widewheel Pro

    I live in Manhattan and I was considering the Emove Cruiser..
    But I really like the price, power and options of the Mantis Advanced.
    I've never ridden a power scooter.
    But I am a heavier rider at 260lbs.
    Plus I go up 2 flights of stairs.. Im use to carrying 60lbs with camera equipment so the weight doesn't bother me.. at all.. as for learning on the scooter.. Because the mantis has those other modes.. I could start on lower power modes such as eco and single motor mode until Im ready for more throttle.

    Thank you for not mentioning price! People always want a heap of features without spending much and it just doesn't happen. You can't expect a lot and sell yourself short. I read on forums suggesting to analyze price first in the respect you'll only get what you can afford, which is right. If people really have a need or a want, then they gotta save for it.

    I’m new to the scooter world and had no idea it was this big. But I’ve been working with a Hover 1 for 3 months, and while it’s fun for the price, it clocks in at 13.3mph on my gps. And that’s no fun anymore. So, after seeing ESGs videos and discovering Fluidfreeride, I want a mantis. Or a Widewheel. So you’ll be hearing from me soon and I can’t wait to get one from y’all :)

      @@scooterninja3479 Nice, congrats! I think you'll be very happy with it. I bought the 10.4 ah version, and I have been able to reach 25, and even 26 under the right conditions (no wind resistance, flat ground, smooth pavement), and I am 150 pounds. However, realistically, I usually max out around 22, 23 (wind is the biggest killer). However, once the battery gets low, the scooter enters a lower power state and the max speed drops down to around 20, 21, which is still plenty fast. Next time I'm going to get a scooter with a little more range and power, but as a first scooter, I've been super happy with it! It's really changed my life, as I'm able to travel around my city without wasting gas or worrying about parking. Enjoy yours!

      @@scooterninja3479 I only ran it dead once, and on that ride I got almost 17 miles out of it, and I was riding full speed for most of the way. I suspect if you ride it at a slightly reduced speed you would easily get 20 or maybe more. I know the Electric Scooter Guide guys got MORE than the advertised 25 mile range for the 13Ah one, which is unheard of for electric scooters. Usually sellers really inflate the mileage ability. Check out the ESG channel if you haven't by the way, they're very detailed with their reviews!

      Shaneel Patel - no, you should be fine, you may have a little harder time hitting 25, but you’ll still get there. One word of advice: make sure the lock lever is pushed all the way down when you unfold the scooter to ride it. I thought it just clicked into place so I ended up crashing the first time I rode lol.

    Really great breakdown for first-time buyers. I am looking to buy both an e-bike and e-scooter. I was pretty set on which ones I was going to buy. Then yesterday I saw a guy in front of Starbucks with a RadRover that is 69lbs. I asked him about the weight and he let me lift it. I was shocked at how heavy that is for me. I barely lifted it 1 inch and put it right back down. I definitely can't carry that weight up stairs at all. I went to website to see the weights. That's when I saw the Rover is 69lbs and I was hoping the mini is about 45lbs...nope 67lbs, just 2lbs less heavy. Now I gotta start my research all over again with greater emphasis on the weight which means I'm going to have to sacrifice powerful motor and speed.

    Hello Julian, good day... i would like to share an experience that i had the last 2 days with Fluidfreeride... First off, i would like to say, i bought your Mosquito Electric Scooter last year, & still have it. But i always wanted to get your Widewheel because of its reputed power. So on Tuesday i went ahead & ordered it.. Then right afterward, i saw on your website that there was an updated version (the Widewheel Pro) that has among a few things i like.. 2 sets of breaks for both tires.. that's something i wanted on my scooters since the first Patgear scooter i bought like 7 years ago.. So i woke up the very next morning & tried to call your company to cancel & get the more expensive Widewheel Pro (with a number that was provided to me, via your system), i had to call many times before i got someone on the phone (i live in NY so we are both on the East Coast).. The woman i called told me that i would also need to send an email... & i expressed to her, knowing full well that humans don't attend to emails very quickly) that by the time my email got attended to, the scooter would probably be on its way out the door... Well, i'm not a prophet.. BUT thats what happened. Then what happened yesterday.. was an exhausting fiasco.. i had a round of emails with several different people... the first who told me that she saw that my call had come in before anyone was around to answer it... & that i just needed to provide my phone number & then i would be given a call later by "management".. After that, i started getting emails from someone name "Adam" who proceeded to interrogate me with a Q&A that took up a good portion of the day. Insinuating that i didn't call.. He could have simply called me as the first person who emailed me said would be done (no one ever called).Then when i finally found the number on my phone, that i orginally called & provided Adam with it, he apologized "for the misunderstanding".. & told me that the FedEx delivery could be halted, but i would have to pay the $75 to have the shipment returned. i feel jilted. i'm a prior customer, who overlooked other less expensive avenues to get your scooter on the market, & went right BACK to the source to buy another.. & after this fiasco, all i'm getting out of my loyalty to your brand.. is a $75 return fee... i love your product. But i must say, your customer service reps do a lousy fucked up job. Had the person i spoke with on the phone attended to my call in a professional manner, due to the urgency & the short time span allotted to stop one order, & change it to another... i would have been able to Buy my 2nd Fluidfreewheel scooter directly from your company... Instead i have ordered it from another source, & am waiting for a refund, along with a $75 deduction from my bank account... Way to go.!!!! Although i'm still a customer, because next week i will have a new Widewheel Pro.. i'm not a happy camper..

      Hi Reo, I tried to look up your order but could not find one under your youtube name.
      I am sorry you had a bad experience.
      In general our customers prefer shipping to be as fast as possible. We are thus set up to submit orders around the time they are placed and they will get shipped within a few business hours. Whenever a customer would like to cancel or swap a product that is not yet shipped, we can do so free of charge. Once a product is shipped, we do charge a fee for bringing the item back to us. This is in line with our policy. Shipping is very costly and we always cover outgoing shipping, even when the item is later returned or cancelled while on the way. In 50% of the cases, returned items have damaged boxes so that we cannot sell them as new anymore.
      I understand you had reached out and were advised to send an email instead. The only place where that could have happen is our still existing external call center we used to collect addresses during a recall we executed last year. Where did you find that number? They are supposed to direct customers to our internal team for any non-recall related enquiries.
      The direct phone line to our internal customer service team is on the website - it goes to the same team doing email support. There, we can cancel orders free of charge that have not yet been shipped.

    My friend, I did not take your advice and initially, I was going for the Zero 10X, but when I saw Mantis, and decided this is the one I had to have so cancelled the order for 10x and grabbed the Mantis. I could not handle the speed in the first few rides but grew accustomed to the high speed of 50+ -60+km/hr as I pile on with more rides. This is my first scooter but after 4 months riding this thing, I have to say there is no way I would go back to a slower scooter. I was trying to ride Mantis yesterday at a lower speed setting which locked the speed at around 25 km/hr which is about the speed of a M365 but gave up halfway through my 28 km journey, the thing struggle to climb even at the slightest incline with speed drop to teens. I gave up switch on the power for the last 14 km. I use Mantis as my public transport replacement. My own experience is when riding something like Mantis, you gain experience by riding a lot and always start at lower speed and you will learn to control the scooter better with more experience. Safety over speed.

      Glad to hear that! Do you have the base or pro mantis. I really like the LG battery but for my joyriding needs cant justify the added cost of pro. Just hope the chinese battery holds up over time!🤔

    • @jliang70
      @jliang70 4 года назад

      @@benpitchford2987 I have the base model with the Chinese battery. The range will depend on how you ride and terrain. If you ride in the city on the paved surface like on the shared path or bicycle path or even on the street like I am generally doing in Australia then you should not have too much problem. I read about the stem issue or stem snap but it wasn't an issue for mine, I even got a new screw to resolve 'the stem problem' but did not have to use it. Another Mantis owner in the US told me about the problem he had with Mantis but his problem were mostly tyres issues, he had a lot of flat tyres bu the is riding on very tough terrain and at high speed.

    • @benpitchford2987
      @benpitchford2987 4 года назад

      @@jliang70 thanks for the reply. I'm not so concerned with range as much as the conditioning of the battery over time (will I lose max speed and range in a few years even tho I use seldomly as joyride).
