I don't think I have enough room in my shower for all items needed for a cycling routine. 😂 I like your descriptions & explanations on the use of all your favorite hair shampoos/conditioners/treatments.
I'd love an in-depth video on seborrheic dermatitis. I feel like it gets mentioned often by derms in passing. I feel like I can never get mine as under control as I'd like (I know I cannot cure it) but the flakes can be more obvious and embarrassing on my darker brown hair. I have used prescription ketoconazole shampoo since I was 12 but I am not living in a new country and it is not as easy for me to get so maybe I will try some alternatives. The head and shoulders does nothing for me, just dries my scalp out so much. Salicylic acid seems to help at times, but I am not sure if it would work well if I switched to it as my main ingredient. Thanks for any tips!
Off topic but if anyone experiences conditioner build up use a shampoo with sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate as the main surfactant a couple times to get rid of it
Thanks for explaining. I've always wondered just how derms cycle through all the hair care products they'll put up in their videos. Have you tried the L'oreal everpure elastic fiber mask? What about a derm hair care brand like Seen or a brand for sensitive folks like No Nothing?
Thanks so much for all the detailed info on each of the products! It is incredibly helpful. I am definitely going to try some of these products but, unfortunately, just placed an order for BondiBoost HG Shampoo & Conditioner. Do you know anything about BondiBoost or which day I should work in the BondiBoost Shampoo & Condition to the 4 day cycling routine? Maybe day 4? Thanks so much!!
Hi Michelle, fellow subscriber here and long-time user of Bondi Boost - it has worked wonders for my hair (Indian). I also first started with BB's HG line and used it for about 1 year and then switched to their Anti-frizz line which I find to be a better fit for my hair type. I also use the anti-frizz mask and have been for a few years now. Takes a few tries to find your perfect line but the brand overall is amazing.
@@nikita-n1w7z Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and sharing that info with me! Great to know! I just received my order and I'm looking forward to trying it. Hope I get good results, too!
I wash my hair 3 times a week and have 3 different categories of shampoos and conditioner that I rotate through - hydrating, strengthening/bonding, and one geared toward scalp health. I might have more than 1 product that fits in that category so the hydrating one might vary. Hopefully at some point I will thin out my products in each category but for now have quite a collection from my experimenting to find things that work for the changes age has had with my hair, I feel like it covers all my hair concerns and keeps my hair from not getting a variety of ingredients.

This is my favorite kind of information 😊thank you so much. I own so many products but sometimes get confused in what order to use them 😂😂😂😂
Totally agree with the hair cycling 👍🏻

Thank you for this, Dr. Liu! Do you find that it is normal to shed more during Fall/Winter?

Thanks for this! Please suggest Korean and Japanese hair products. ❤
Yes, please!!!!!! 🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I usually prefer Korean skin & hair products, but admit there are a few great Japanese hair masks out there.
First comment❤❤❤
Holy! Keep it simple, please. It's a lot of blah blah blah!
