In this video we try and resurrect a 1957 Chevrolet bel air that has been forgotten about, neglected, and abandoned in a field. That is never the intention, but when project add up and time keeps rolling, its hard to get to everything. This 57 chevy hasn't run in over 12 years, and it hasn't oved from its spot in even longer. We plan on changing that! Let us know what you think we should do with this car. It is a very cool ride and needs to be saved. Thanks again for watching!
We have another project coming out next week so keep an eye out for that!

1975 Chevrolet Bel air is my all-time favorite car. Love to see more.
Ya its just such a classic. Hopefully we can swing a deal and do this car on the channel!
Keep going with this one. It'll be fun to watch.
Thanks! Ya I'd love to make this one a channel project!
Yes, let's see you guys refinish the '57!
I'd love to see it through till the end
Any content you put out is great. It looks like there is a yard full of vehicles to fix up and show on the channel. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much! Yes there are a few gems back there we could work on. We'll see if we can get our hands on some. I guess we should finish a few other projects first haha
Cool car. She wants to move for sure!
Good stuff!!
She was trying! If we fix that line and swap out some tires that will hold air, I bet it will drive around the field for sure!
Definitely, restore and put this classic back on the road.
Looking in the background and he's got some cool cars stacked up
Yes! A few Chevelle, a 56 Chevy, a couple of cool old relics!
its called a (hoarder) and nothings for sale as I'm going to restore them someday!!!
It's a shame you couldn't have robbed some tires from one of those other Chevys to get it to roll.
Love everything about your channel. You guys do a great job!
Ahh thank you! Glad you enjoy the channel!
I like the fact you mixed it up , and did a “will it start “ video, keeps the channel interesting .👍🇨🇦
Thanks! Ya its nice to have a variation. And these first start videos might lead to rebuilds and paint videos!
I had a nice 57 about 60 years ago so I'm interested. Thanks
Oh amazing! Well hopefully we can continue with this one and make a build series.
I *really* want to see more of that car, it'd be cool to see what you guys come up with!
Thanks! Ya it would be cool to bring the one back around and do it up nice!
Dude, its time to get a new shirt! Love old 57 chevy.
Haha it's barely holding on! But ya such a great car. Once we get it out I really want to see what the underside looks like
Definitely let see it move. Kool cars there. Beaumont. SS Chevelle.
Yes! You are right about both the Beaumont and Chevelle! Maybe we can do some more videos with Owen's project waiting list lol
Owen is back!!
Yes he is! And I'm sure he will be in a few more first start videos haha.
How did I miss this upload? #rustedrides ❤🔥
Love the content. Apreciate the videos. Love sent from florida
Thank you very much. We've been watching the news and I hope you and your family are all ok. Crazy damage from the storms
@@RustedRides
Appreciate that. We got lucky in my area. Lost power 12 hours and some branches down.
Rooting for ya 100%, you guys got this ! Money in the Bank ! ✊👍✌
Thank you! Ya this one would be a cool build!
Let's see her go. More videos please.
We are trying to make this a future project. We actually have a bunch of things lined up. We just need time to work on them and time to edit them haha!
Even as rough as that is, it's still worth a lot of money.
Ya i bet it is. Especially if it can be called a running/driving car
This was a fun one!
Haha fun indeed!
Love it! Would be a fun thing to do getting your 57 Chevy and the 1959 Rambler American together! My Rambler hasn't run since the late 1970s or early 80s😁
The rambler would be very cool! Sitting a long time, would be cool to see that fire up!
@@RustedRides I thought it would have been a cool thing to collaborate on an "ultimate winter beater" build off but that was last month before I got this 1937 Oldsmobile engine project 😁
That jacket looks like the one mile was giving away the guy from Canada
Lol it's seen better days! Thanks for all the comments!
Do it! I’m waiting for a ride!
Those aren't Bees they're Wasps be careful, good video
Ahh thanks! Ya I never know which one is what so I just generally call them all bees. But if I saw them alive side by side, I could pick out the bee
@@RustedRides Yeah if you ever encounter honeybees don't kill them get someone to move the nest
Get it,fix it up,and drive the wheels off of it !!
Hahaha that is what it wants to do, I could tell with how it was trying to get out of those ruts!
Its in decent shape to save!
Ya it seems pretty solid still. There are a few spots that need attention, but that's to be expected 👍
Bring it back to life.
Ya, it deserves to live again!
Tim, does Owen need a few bucks to visit Salvation Army?
Hahaha he can afford a new one, but he sees it as still half good haha
What's up with that 1967 chevelle that's jacked up in back really high
It's lifted up on steel drums to keep it away from the dirt and to let air flow under it. Trying to keep it from rusting out
Dang, y’all must’ve slang a million bottles of syrup to acquire all that
Hahaha you know it!
I see a few 67 Chevy Chevelle's in the back ground.
Good eye! There are a few, some are just parts, but some are good for rebuild!
Drop it off at my place love to have a stock one to ride around in
Right! Its nice, yes it needs work, but I'm confident it will run and drive then will need some tlc
I have 57 pickup to restore i done a55 ford it won hot nights and cool rides car show in 2018 in forestcity n.c. over 500 intrees
Go for it! Restore it
😮😊
👍😊

You need to finish it.
I agree! Just need to finish a few other projects first then maybe we coukd do a build series on it
BIRTHDAY PARTY !
Restore
Ya, seems to be the consensus. Just gotta finish a few other projects first!
Yeah sure I don't know how to use that thing.
Haha he just didn't want to do the long walk to fill it up for each tire
Love to trade my 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 four-door quad cab for your bel aire 2 door type I'm in California and in very good condition 🎉🎉 let me know ?😅
Haha a California rust free vehicle does sound real nice! I'll mention it to Owen. I doubt he will go for it though
Wrong steering wheel and column
Like I said its a Chevy it will idle
Haha, yep, you called it!
Pull her out and give her life again!
so damn sad what this clown did to this poor or 57 is just Rotton!!wtf is wrong with people? Let me guess, it was (not for sale) for the past 20 years he owned it as he was going to (restore) it someday???same ole story!!!no i wouldn't waste my time working on the car just to let it sit somemore!go find someone who would be happy to get their old car going again and use it!!!
Its a Chevy it will run and idle ill bet
Exactly, was mostly out of the elements
That car would make a bad gasser paint it black with flames 2/4 sticking out of the hood yeah you got a good one there good luck whatever you going to do
That would be awesome! Would be easy enough to do as well!
