I have seen the documentary with Louis Gates! They know exactly who they are,and they are proud of their African ancestors. I don’t understand how people who aren’t apart of them have the nerve to speak on what nation of people they derived from. They are Afro Mexicans period!

This is informational (for anyone whom it may apply and/or may not know).
Within reason & obviously within RUclips's stringent community guidelines, etc.; a RUclips Creator has the right to post selected photos and/or footage on their productions.
In this particular production; my subject matter is about some Mexicans who have varying degrees of black historical lineage.
I found that to be interesting (and to be truthful, I found many of the Afro-Mexican women to be physically attractive).
Some individuals don't think that I should not have done it - that I'm trying to mislead & say all Mexicans are "Black" or that I'm a "race baiter", or some under type of agenda that I don't have.
Mexico is currently only 2% Black (Mexicans with enough African lineage to be considered racially Black). I also know that historically, the population of African descended Mexicans has been small - I don't need certain individuals that have posted here to provide a historry lesson (I don't care if the individual is 100% Castilian descended; a direct descendent of Aztec warriors; Mestizo, or whatever the case may be).
If you like the photos & also agree that the Afro-Mexican ladies are attractive & that's great.
If you don't like my video, that's also cool and obviously your right.
I'm sorry that I've upset & made a few individuals very sad & depressed because I presented a few individuals in my video who happen to also be of some African descent.
It's okay - don't cry & hang your heads - there are only a small amount of Afro-Mexicans in Mexico (only 2%). I hope this will help certain individuals sleep better at night.

My photo-slide video production presented some of the 2% of Mexico's population (which is verified in the most recent official Mexican census in your [presumably] country) of which are of African descent (varying degrees - some having more African genes & most having a mixture with African genes being predominate).
With that being said; of course, 2% is a small amount of the population.
So my question; why are you so upset & crying because there are few "NEGRO MEXICANS" that are actually a longstanding part of Mexico.
It's because you actually want to be a White Anglo & you want to pretend and give all the other European & United States white people the impression that there are absolutely NO/zero Mexicans that have African heritage that live in Mexico.

The majority of the Afro-Mexicans in my video are probably mixed with varying degrees of native Indian blood (native Indians of Mexico not the United States).
The primary lineage gene pool of the Afro-Mexicans, however, is Black (as in of African descent).
Every Afro-Mexican woman man or woman doesn't look like Celia Cruz (who was Afro-Cuban), Sammy Sosa (a Dominican), or Micheal Jordan (a famous African-American with strong Black features).
Does every/the average white or mestizo Mexican look like the current Mexican President, Salma Hayak, or the females Mexicans shown on Telemundo (No, they do not & Afro-Mexicans also have various looks too [not the stereotype of what you think a "Black" person should look like]).

It doesn't matter what you consider to be BLACK or that you "lived around BLACK PEOPLE your entire life, etc." My video is not addressing about what the average (or "most") Black Americans look like in the United States. I wasn't addressing the "average" Mexican woman - in terms of physical appearance and racial identity. I was clearly presenting those that have varying degrees of African genes (most who carry the genes of the African slaves that were brought to southern Mexico (Veracruz, in particular) - this is a historical fact (even your official Caucasian history books & journals fully acknowledge this fact), There is a town in southern Mexico named Yanga - it was named after one of the African slaves who led a revolt against the Spaniards (who had brought he and his fellow Africans to Mexico to be slaves). The ancestors of many of the Mexicans that reside in parts of southern Mexico have genes from these individuals (to varying degrees. Even the recent Mexican census (finally) indicates that 2 percent of their country is Black. This is a small percentage, most definitely. So, my video-photoslide presentation is a representation of the 2 percent of the Mexican population who have African ancestry Have you ever even been to Mexico (border towns like Tijuana don't count)? Well, I have to observe personally.
@@pinheadlarry4538 I think the point REIGNofTEARS is making here is that Mexico DOES have an historical connection with Africa. Personally, I've met Mexican Americans who have denied this...either out of ignorance, or for other reasons (in fact the Mexican government only began to acknowledge Afro-Mexicans in it's national census in 2015) and although Vicente Guerrero, Mexico's 2nd president had some African ancestry, Mexico has for decades marginalized this population. They are now beginning to assert themselves and rightly so.
