The wj jeep front axle which is a dana 44 out of a ram. Manly because of trackbar issues after wheeling. Gonna make a dirty cheap bent dom tube bridge truss. Trying to mimic the rear 3 link. Wishbone upper and slight triangulated lowers. Would love to loose the track bar.
Good video. I am fighting the same thing. Trying to fit the perfect 4 link under my cj. It ain't happening! I like what you did as a compromise! I hope you see this post and can give me the eye to eye lengths of the upper and lower and some thoughts on how it worked a d what you might have changed after you have run it. Thanks
Unfortunately we had to move this project out of the garage for a while and focus on another one. We haven't been able to test the setup yet. The plan is to finish the jeep this winter. Hopefully the current project will be finished within a month then budget willing the CJ will come back in the garage to get finished. As soon as we get it on the trail we will make videos about it and detail the build and how it performs. If you still want the lengths I can measure them for you, I dont know them off the top of my head.
You installed the axle side upper link mounts upside down. You should forsure weld a plate on the top surface those things will bend in no time. Ps I almost made this mistake 😃
No I didn't, not yet anyhow. Ended up having to move twice, once across the country, which brought things to a screeching hault. Ended up getting deployed right after that as well. Hopefully once I'm back in the states I'll be able to start slowly making progress on it again.
Every application is a little different, wheel base will affect it, which axles you use, what engine and trans combo you need to work around. This setup may work properly for us but might not work properly for you. We bought one of their kits along with a couple extra mounts to play with and then started testing different mounting points until we found what worked and cut the links to length. Your best bet is a universal kit like we bought, it will have everything you should need.

What did your link lengths end up being? I am currently doing the lowers on a stretched CJ7.
Did you ever get this rig built? I'd love to see how it worked out!

Dang, cant wait to see this thing out in the puerco!
Thanks! Neither can we. Gonna try and get it up and running as quickly as we can.
Where did you get the motor mounts?
We got them from Daves Customs Unlimited. He has a ton of great stuff. davescustomsunlimited.com/
Dude this 4 link no need track bar. I run 35 tires. For off road and street
