Very useful video, I was searching for it. I have a 1.4 TSI and I was planning to change the bulbs, it seems almost impossible to do following user's manual instructions without taking out the whole headlight. Thank you!
+FL4ME WITH A 4 Thank you very much! I have a small issue with my Roc, not so big but very annoying....drivers door window rattle. I know it's originated by power window mechanism, so I should remove door cover to get access inside. It would be very useful to me if you have such a video. Thank you!
dodicicilindri Funny you say that as i am doing a video on trim door card removal and fitting of side skirts, also bulb upgrades, and painting of the interior trim. :)
Useful guide to understand locating the bulb but such a needless exercise to take out the cluster. Can easily knock off the bulb with two fingers and pop it back in with the same technique.
Brilliant mate. Somehow the headlight retaining spring/clip came out when i was changing the bulb on the Xenon's. Will need to do this to get it back in.
Very helpful video the bulbs are a nightmare to change, the driver's side light has a cable running below the metal plate which makes that side a bit more awkward. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻
What was the 2nd bulb you pulled out? Is that like a 2nd headlight? just wondering as I am changign my headlight bulbs to xenon white. Will I need to replace all 4 bulbs? Cheers.

Great video , but I did this a few weeks ago but I didn't replace the cable for opening the bonnet in proper at the top of the headlight , now I can't open the bonnet, anybody any ideas how I can open the bonnet to fix the lead. Please reply if you can help. Thanks

i figured out what was that - door lock - blog.autointhebox.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/The-correct-and-effective-lubrication-of-car-door-locks.jpg used wd40 on it and creaking stoped, but i think better use denser lubricant

I managed to do it using a small forked ball joint splitter as a lever to help twist. Thanks for the video.

Just unclip the bonnet release cable from the cover on driver's side - fingernails will do it easily.

James Crawford I can only think that maybe if you can get underneath you could reach up and use a screwdriver to unclip the latch

rear right brake light, to be precise. door is creaking while i drive on acceleration or bumps

Only to check what size hand would fit and I was supervising my son with gloves on at the time 👍🏻 it's educational for kids to get involved
