I'm 38 and tattoos haven't gotten more painful really... I think my problem is I have fibromyalgia and even if I'm not in a flare up when I go in, getting tattooed causes a flare up. Say I'm getting a 2-3 hour tattoo, About an 30 minutes to an hour in I start flaring and then the pain is worse and my body starts recieving signals in other areas saying they're in pain -- Then I'm in hell for the rest of the tattoo. I can last 2-3 hours before having to tap out if it's a longer tattoo though.

When your tired and stressed it’s much harder to get through when ya rested and happy and excited it’s easier!
