The Honda 500 2 stroke during the 80’s and 90’s Moto 500GP were legends, but this engine was also legendary. It’s a shame Honda no longer has balls, and they’re too fat and lazy as a corporation. Their fan base expires when us old heads die off though…. And we are only fans because of Honda of our childhood. They have to understand this at some point. Edit: anyone born after 1998 thinks Yamaha or Kawasaki is the leading Japanese motorcycle manufacturer….and they aren’t wrong for what they’ve seen

No it never got banned. It was used successfully until 2007 when they changed the rules from 990cc engines to 800cc to try and slow the bikes down for safety reasons, because they were becoming too quick!🙈 Didn't work though as the 800cc bikes were even quicker!😂

@@LloydG52 might need to restrict throttle body size or Rev limits..
All the Harley baggers were blowing up before 7 laps so they put 7,000 RPM rev limiters on them
