@@a1s1inn well I hesitated for good 2 months because it's plastic and before this phone, I used to have j7 2017 which is all metal so it was hard to transition to less premium materials but to me, the screen is amazing (not as good as in flagships but extremely good), camera is pretty good quality and the phone is smooth. The screen is gigantic and I love it. You're just going to have a little struggle with the underscreen fingerprint scaner since it needs to be pressed longer and precisely but once u get it u should have no problem. I am really satisfied with a70 so far, just again, plastic and mediocre speaker bother me sometimes

I recently bought a70 and its the best thing ever! Talk about the battery that lasts almost 3 days, talk about a huge, bright screen, talk about the duo sim, expandable memory with 100+GB inside and an headphone jack, the design on the phone is amazing. Samsung forever!

Using the a70 transitioning from an iphone and let's just say I'm never going back.
Ok so a month later i changed to the s10 and i still feel that the a70 is just as powerful and almost has a better display than the s10.

My old s8 broke so I went shopping today for the new s10 had a look around the s10 was about $1500nzd but saw the A70 on the stand across from it so had a look and was blown away as it offers you most of the stuff the s ranges can etc but also gives you a much bigger screen and you're cutting half the cost $600nzd. Very happy with my purchase and have saved over $900!!

Yeah when me and my family went to Dubai (obviously before the pandemic) we were planning to get the Note 10 but the price was too high so the shopkeeper suggested us to buy the A70 because it was definitely worth the price. I am really happy with it

I have one of these A70 "Less Known Samsung Galaxy Phones"
It charges in no time at all, the large screen is brilliant, video playback is well nice.
Even with the large battery it only lasts about the same as any large phone.
The cameras are good, not outstanding but good enough for the average person.
Same with the speaker, it's acceptable.
The under screen finger print reader works fine most of the time, but often needing two attempts.
Android 9 runs smooth, every thing is snappy.
Upgrade to Android 10 is confirmed in the UK sometime soon.
I got in on a dirt cheap 24 month contract at £20 per month.
Not getting it direct from the network providers, but rather a re-seller of contracts is much cheaper.
Android and apps take up just over 3 of the six gigs of memory, I don't know if that's excessive or not.
The 128 gigs of on board storage is more than enough for me.
I don't do arsebook or twatter but I guess crap like that works just fine on the A70.
With a £7 case on it looks like any other Galaxy S and pretty much works like one.
It a case of horses for courses, personally I love it .
My phone plan ends next month and so I'm looking at upgrading from the Galaxy A8. I'm so glad this video is around, cause I trust Lew, but I also know that there's not a tremendous amount of content when it comes to more budget phones.

I liked this phone but I got the s10 instead... what I've noticed about budget Samsung phones is they discontinue them fast and never update them and I will like to keep my phone longer and have it continue to get updates for at least 3 years

The galaxy A range is really popular here in the UK. I've had the A5 2017 and now the A50.
Switch the front camera ratio to [3:4H] for a 32Mp photo.. otherwise it captures a 8 mp photo by default.
Default is 12.2MP. You have to use Gcam for 8MP

Just got an A50, this phone is amazing! I found one sealed brand new for $250.00 CAD in box (Canadian version). The battery lasts me all day and that's playing games, trading stocks etc. My only complaint would be the finger scanner. It's not even that bad after the update but it could be better. I really do appreciate facial recognition, it's very fast! Again, this is a budget phone, its actually hard to believe what you get for the price.

I think the reason why North America didn't get this device until now is because people are more comfortable with spending a bit more money on a smartphone than it is in other parts of the world, because here in Argentina (or India for example) where we have a very serious economic problem, the A series has been selling for a couple of months, almost half a year by now.

I have (currently typing from) a Samsung Galaxy A20 and I really like it went from an iphone to it and I wouldn't go back to apple honestly and if I like my A20 this much I know I would definitely love the A70

Ya know, with how good these “budget” phones are getting, I don’t believe anyone should really spend almost or over $1000 for a flagship phone.
It just proves that they could charge less for their flagships if they really wanted to, but they don’t because maximizing profit is good for business...and that’s perfectly fine.

I have a Note 9 and honestly, I like the A70 more. Besides the multi color back of course. I think I like the fact that it's a full screen, small notch and NOT curved.

I have s9+ and I would prefer this than any other mid range. Great speaker with Dolby atmos, IP68, better display and processor,etc.

This phone is one of my favourites next to the Note 9. It actually kinda reminds me of an IPhone in terms of structure and build.
I’m constantly on my phone so a big battery life is important to me. Because most phones have a small battery I tend to just use an iPad. Something like this is what I’d need lmao
