Also- I hear all the feedback on the interview style & 100% agree Bony is a good friend- there was no intent to disrespect him Still figuring out best flow There's one more that we already recorded that has this same structure- but will be improved on for videos following🤝
Yeah, bro.. you def a natural for this platform but maybe start with the interview about the persons life and what got them into sneakers then transition to their sneakershops instead of going back and forth.
Bro, great channel, but your interviewing needs some work. Dont ask the subject about their life, and cut him off abruptly as he starts answering you. Eg, tell me about the liquor store? Then cut him off and say so tell me about these spiders. Do a shoe and clothing segment, then an interview segment. There should be a flow rather than a stop and go, stop and go approach. When you ask about a product show that youre actually interested rather than thinking of the next question you need to ask.
I agree bro, I almost clicked off the video because you kept asking the man questions and then cutting him off and jumping to the next topic just to go backwards and bring back up something we could have already learned and moved on from. Complex does it too in a way so I understand the inspiration however, they transition the questions smoother so it doesn’t come off rude. I know that won’t your goal but perception is reality
Some good perspective on the dangers of overexpanding during a boom market. Bony has a good head on his shoulders if he is using sneakers as a stepping stone into real estate!
Over-optimism clipped him. Sad story of flying too close to the sun. Gotta quit while you’re ahead and always keep expenses down. I made a fortune off sneakers in 2020-2022 starting from nothing. Over half a mil to my name now, out the game and invested in safe assets. Great vid bro.
In my opinion, it would have flowed better if you let him dictate to the direction of the conversation, instead of saying repeatedly, “ok we’ll talk about that more later.”
The "My family went from sleeping on the floor to sleeping on a bed" and how proud of himself he is for that, is the realest thing I've heard in a long time. Keep grinding family
Supply chain shortages during Covid and inflation made reselling profitable. You could have resold just about anything for a couple years. There are no more supply issues. Inflation has leveled off and Nikes go on clearance all the time now. This bubble is about to bust. The last person buying will be left holding the bag.
You all in his numbers. I am surprised you didn't say, "id like to hear more about that, but what's your social security number? Bank routing number and checking account number plus the savings account number."
Daejin all these guys want to build a brand. I am helping sneaker stores do that now out of my Pittsburgh company we do $10M/year online all packaging and I got into sneaker stores 2-3 years ago. Great videos!
He doesn’t have a sneaker store, he has a reseller store that sells sneakers, BIG difference. A sneaker store will make steady sales whereas a reseller store goes according to trend. The sneaker market is still there, it’s just consumers are sick of getting beat by resellers and sneaker companies have realized that folks are willing to pay premiums in certain shoes and have increased their prices. Furthermore, sneaker heads are getting older and have now been ok with passing on releases and waiting until they hit outlets or go on sale. Start interviewing sneaker stores and you’ll see the difference in their profit.
Great interview segment of a sneaker store. There's room for improvement bro, sometimes you're asking questions but you suddenly cut it off when the owner speaks up.
This man did what he had to do and this spoil Brad tell him that it was a pretty boring job. WTF do you know about job look what you do I bet you that you still living at your moms house but you shiting on this guy hard work this youtubers are so disrespectful that is crazy

And that’s not true, “Everything that goes down has to come back up.” What he meant is, “what goes up, must come down.” BIG difference!!
Lol I was thinking that too
Appreciate how you show the real side of the risks and rewards of operating your own business.
Honestly it takes a lot to own a store! Hope everyone who is a reseller took some points from this video to learn. Great video keep up the great work!

How did he get DS sb dunks for $80. I never knew there was a cologne shortage or people backdooring them lol.
Imagine investing it all on a resell market manipulated by the retailer, lol
You keep cutting him off 😂😂😂

Would be a solid to drop the business owners store location in the description
Speedrun from riches to rags. Open a resell store.
