Combine Zach Snyder's costumes and fight scenes with Nolan's story telling and you would have a perfect Batman film.
Can't argue with that.
Clarence Mcree bro I was just going to say that. Great fucken movie. This last Batman fight. Was awesome.
@Dylan Lockhead dude grow the fuck up,there is no snyder cut,and if there is,no one in their right mind will ever spend more money on that shitty movie.
Get over it already,moron
@J J you don't think mashing two of the greatest DC comics ever into one movie and drastically butchering it was a mistake?
Yes. That would be
Ben Affleck was fighting like Batman from the Arkham Games. He is the best.
so right man
His character & personality was fantastic in Zack Snyder's Justice League aswell. Reminds me a lot of the B:TAS Batman. Specifically B:TAS, not TNBA, not Batman Beyond
@@thenoirknight5729 Yeah, ZSJL’s Batman was the closest we’d get to Conroy’s Batman (THE definitive version of the Dark Knight)
I honestly think Ben nailed it. I’d expect Batman to fight like that because of the Arkham games 😂
Sadly he ruins it by killing
@mrjo2thec Some people know him from both and it doesn't matter where because at the end they like him. Besides the Arkham games have been a big thing that many people play so nothing wrong with that.

Bale: No guns, no killing.
Zack Snyder & Ben: Hold our beers
Also Bale : attached guns to his vehicles & blasts cars & people
Everyone forgets the originals. Tim Burton & Michael
Ben Affleck's Batman wins this one. Such an awesome fight scene.
Hey man it is the effort of stunt man and choreographer and not the actor
Tariq Abbas 😒no shit but Ben still did some of his own stunts tho
So I guess not a single one of the goon's mothers were named Martha.
@killbotone Then you're truly a boring, tasteless and basic person, lmao you're just sad xD
Take away the killing tho
Quick review:
1966: Just doesn’t hold up, but has nostalgic value.
1989: The closest to the demeanor of the character.
1995: A bit cartoonish but still solid.
2005: Closest to the spirit of the character.
2008: A perfect blend of form and film ontology.
2012: Interesting as it foreshadows future events in the film (between the staging of characters and the score). The choreography was not the best however.
2016: If there really was a guy athletic and disciplined enough to be Batman, THIS is how he would fight.... except for all the murder.
Great vid. Much obliged!!!
1.
2005:
Ninja style.
A shadow, almost invisible, lurking, threatening, unreal, cunning, tactical, always one step ahead, fast, dramatic reveal, impressive athlete but never too flamboyant.
Symbol of omnipresence and stealth.
2.
1989:
Master style.
Cold, controlled, cost-efficient, could do this for hours, self-assured, enjoys it way more than he would ever let on, holding it back yet very imposing figure, composed bravado, unfazed, never yields.
Symbol of stoicism and strength.
3.
2016:
Commando style.
Aggressive, kinetically proactive, tactical, environment-aware, strategic approach but flexible improvisations, ruthless, never holding back, calculated for maximum impact, brute force but prone to burn out in unexpectedly longer fights.
Symbol of relentlessness and power.
@@elfsieben1450
Really cool analysis!!
@@JD37 thx
@@elfsieben1450 hell yeah and bvs Bruce was going on like his 20th year as bats I believe. So imagine if he was in his prime taking on those warehouse goons. I imagine the fight wouldn’t have last no longer than like 2-3 minutes
Despite the trash Affleck’s Caped Crusader received, his Batman dominated in choreography and fighting styles. The previous movies failed to actually work on the geometry of the fighting and the strategy.
I believe batfleck's fighting was based off the Arkham Asylum video games.
Yeah but then again, Nolan's Batman was more grounded towards reality. If Batman was real, he would be like Bale's Batman and not Affleck's because what he does is next to impossible for a Normal human. But, it does make for a good action sequence. But, Nolan's trilogy is still untouched by anything so far...
@@adamhendrickson512
I agree 100% on that.
The Nemophilist I agree the fighting was great the rest could be improved if Patterson’s Batman has a fighting style similar to this were in for a treat I believe

I think we all got robbed as a solo movie with Ben would have been awesome. And if the rumor that it was to be based off of Death In The Family? Oh man. I think it would have explained this version of Batman and would have made his eventual redemption (thanks to Clark) incredibly satisfying.
Thoughts and opinions on Batfleck after ZSJL?
@@thenoirknight5729 After seeing what Zach did with him in the Snyder Cut I still feel a solo Batfleck movie would have been pretty darn good. Of course that's just my opinion. LOL. What do you think?
@@elliott2513 I honestly think Batfleck, after ZSJL, is one of the best portrayals of Batman in any media.
I definitely hope we get Ben's Batman movie someday when he feels up for it. That Arkham murder mystery with Deathstroke would have been sick! I also hope we get a Batfleck prequel someday with Robin, set in 2003

The worst batman
@@QuenTeHein better than a Batman who lost to a body builder and voiced like swallowed a sack of dicks.
@@OWA_Freerunning agreed
@@OWA_Freerunning So basically you're saying Bale was a martial artist (like the comics batman) and a detective (again, like the comics batman). Batfleck is a brawler...does he have that detective mind tho? Cause I think that's what makes Batman great. IMO, Bale's Batman was faithful to the persona. But Batfleck's suit and gadgets are more faithful to the Batman of the comics.
@@RickOnPlanetEarth If you can, watch The Dark Knight Returns movie. You'll see better what kind of Batman Ben resembles too, an older one, still with it's detective tools, but that's pissed off and willing to kill, or brawl 1v1 on a mudpit with a beefed up gang leader. In the other hand, Bale's is what Batman would look like if he were to exist in real life. More technical, avoids direct combat, and focuses in his detective skills.
Batman v Superman has a best fight.

Christian bale batman and storytelling+ Affleck's fighting style - the cancer throat-killing= perfect live action batman.
The Batman Begins one is the best, you can feel the fear in the goons. It was also the most satisfying, especially the end with Falcone where Batman says the famous lines.
While Affleck’s cool, it doesn’t give out the same sense of terror that the Begins one does.
Bales so slow though a real gang would've put him down easily
Batfleck put fear the goons in the moment as they saw this giant bat creature take them down quickly and precisely
Hardly. The last guy is obviously terrified. The Batman Begins scene is terrible. It shows a bunch of feet and bad guys collapsing to the ground. There is zero hand to hand shown. Affleck’s Batman does something hardly shown in film; he takes on multiple comers without them waiting for a one on one. They’re attacking him, two, four, five at a time. And takes them down one by one while simultaneously fending off the others. It’s an excellent scene. The plot of the movie sucks, but this is by far the best Batman fight sequence in film.
LMAO shaky camera nonsense? Really? That's the mark of an incompetent director.
@@winternet9478 oh so lets just forget how terrified the goons were in Batman Begins..
@@rogermurph101 it was shaky camera on purpose to almost present Batman as a mysterious figure, especially the way he kept doing jumpscares out of nowhere. it's pure batman.
I love the final dark knight fight when he had the glowing white eyes. Wish they would’ve kept it for longer or used that idea in other films
AtomicSuperMe Bat Detective Mode, cool idea like in Arkham Games
Bale had the best sounding batmobile, affleck had the best sounding batwing.
The bat pod sounded nice too
For all of the crap he took, and everyone else that cast him took, Ben Affleck is by far the darkest, and the true Dark Knight.
Now after all of the mess that the studio created, it’s a complete understatement to say that it will be very difficult to recast this
part!
Mark Lambert everything was perfect man. The suit, voice, fights, casting. Only problem is the storytelling plot
I wouldn't say true dark knight. He killed a few people there which is against Batman code

Guys Batman didnt " kill " anyone in his warehouse fight scene minus maybe the last guy pinned to the wall.
The crate scene..he could have just busted his head open. The grenade..the guy dropped it..the flame thrower..not too many ways to stop that sooooo

Ben's batman was the best i think. He's brutal in combat and actually uses his gadgets during fighting.
That Warehouse fight scene was awesome.
Homie with the Uzi who screamed “WHERE ARE YOU” did very well with his short screen time, maximized his acting skills with facial expressions and his loud yell
Ben you'll definitely be missed. You were the best.

10:40 for the 'Rock Bottom'.
I love that Ben Affleck's warehouse fight sequence.....
I really love that "phantom" feels of the Batman in Batman Begins, probably the thing I missed more in the sequels.
1989 and Batfleck.
I will take those two over Bale any day
Affleck warehouse fight scene was glorious, maybe the best scene of that movie...
Handsdown the most badass batman moment in cinema
Next batman has to fight like the one of Adam West. lol
Great video. And really great song at the end.
the evolution from 2005 to 2008 is so rewarding, those quick cuts were garbage. Then 2012 the choreography seemed so lazy. Batfleck just demolishes.
I completely agree! :D
Bale >>
The warehouse scene is the definitive Batman fight. No other comes close to showing he can fight. Now let's hope the new movie can show he can solve crimes.
I think the whole point of the docks scene is that you couldn’t see him coming, it’s from the criminals perspective so that’s why you can’t see Batman fight in Batman begins
@@MW-dd8vk Probably the BEST introduction to Batman in any live action film...
Ben Affleck was in the right way with such a good Batman until they destroyed everything with that shitty Justice League movie.

The warehouse scene in BvS was by far the best Batman fight scene in any movie. I'm hoping The Batman learns a few things from it
Best ones imo;
Christian Bale 2008
Ben Affleck 2016

Batfleck and 1989 were the best :)
things i love about each Batman (except Clooney):
West: classic, campy with the words coming up, a really fun thing they put in
Keaton: This guy barely talks and plays dead but can still kick a ton of ass
Kilmer: use of the REC from the arkham games, nice
Bale: Stealth and "tactical" fighting are his bread and butter, it looks like he's doing one thing but thats just a ploy for something else
Batfleck: his plane is also a UAV and he's the closest to getting a film version of Arkham Batman
Best batman fight is like ben Affleck

Abdul Hannan Patrawala yes sorry
Anakin Skywalker what up Anakin I haven’t seen you since Star Wars

Batfleck is badass
Honestly Val Kilmer had very god Batman fight scenes, I feel like that’s not touched up upon enough because the first fight is actually choreographed really well
How do you skip the best Batman movie Batman Returns...

Batman Returns was 1/5 my childhood, but the fight choreography sucked.

Batman 2016 "No kill rule?"..hmm...."nah"
Love the hilarious thumbnail for this video. Batman & the Darkness. A rather anaemic late 90s early 2000s comic. Terrible artwork. Look at that right leg of Batman’s. It’s massive compared to the other leg.
9:35: The build-up to the infamous warehouse fight. The background sounds fill with the painful screams of Batman's enemies, warning of the bloodbath and reckoning to come. This is the Batman we all wanted. Cold, savage, and without mercy.
Tal vez a la gente no le gustó su actuación, pero para mí la de Ben Affleck es la mejor pelea.
Nothing beats Ben beating the fuck out of some crooks, and he ain't even my favorite batman.
I don't care what anyone says I think Afflecks portrayal of The dark knight is by far the best. I think ppl hate on him because they obviously don't like Ben Affleck, he fits both Batman and Bruce Wayne very well better than Bale imo and I'm a Christian Bale fan there was just always something off about his Batman like it wasn't as believable as Ben's. Ben captured the essence of how scary Batman is suppose to be better than any other actor and the last person to capture that aura was Michael Keaton in Tim Burtons 1989 Batman.
I agree 100%. But another reason is because the movie he was in sucked.
Did you say the same thing 4 yrs ago? I wonder
Batman begins had the worst fight scenes because they barely showed him. They improved on it in dark knight
Imo Batman begin’s has the best fight scene, since it creates suspense by not watching him clearly. I think it’s the most realistic and reminds me of the Arkham stealth fights.
@@Alpha-bt9bh Agree
Improve? Lol I think the dark Knights fights are aweful
@@Alpha-bt9bh I couldn't tell what he was doing because I barely saw him. It's worse than shaky cam
The warehouse fight scene in Batman Begins is perfect. He singles them out one by one, ninja style, they never see him coming unless he wants them to. He is building his own myth right there, making just enough sound to announce his lurking presence, giving brief flashes of himself to scare the shit out of them, and finally he beats them up so fast and hard that their memory will be blurry at best. He makes himself seen only by one guy closeup, appearing out of nowhere when the guy turns around, dangling bang in his face freaking upside down wearing a demon face mask. His tale of what happened will be unreliable but enough to seed a rumour. The whole fight is bound to leave a traumatic impression on everyone involved but himself. The way it's shown on screen captures the essence of what this Batman is all about: cunning, creepy, controlling. Even the sound design is great, almost like multiple bat wings flapping. It doesn't get better than that in terms of character establisment.
Honestly I doubted Ben would do justice as Batman but when I saw that film in theatres and that particular fight scene, my jaw dropped of how fantastic it was, so yeah he exceeded my expectations and changed my mind. Ben’s pretty awesome in the film.
Too bad he couldn't have directed his own Batman movie
Nah I knew he could do it by the way he played Daredevil 😏👌
Keaton's cowl, facial expressions/bat glare and subtlety + Bale's character development, theatrics and Bruce Wayne + Affleck's suit, physique, fighting skills and fight scenes + Pattinson's detective skills and voice = Perfect live action Batman
(Gordon) I never said thank you (Batman) and you'll never have to.
Honestly bale portrayed batman honestly ...no guns no kill, (most of you will not agree but) better fighting style then benfleck, and sexy body..

Great video! But you forgot the best Batman out of all Batmans: the Lego Batman😜
Batman 2016 la my favourite. Yes he kill. But it's the first time where Bats can move his head without move his entire body
@Alexander TRICHIAS the first time where he can move completely. Bale was only able to look ecer so slightly left and right
didn't know Keaton got down like that palm strike to the chest, followed by a front kick to the head. good defense as well with the leg block
And tonight you will break your number one code.
Affleck's warehouse fight, Bales hostage rescue fight and Kilmers club fight. 1,2 and 3 best fights in that order.
8:50 So much for Batman not using guns.
I think this is the closest we get to the holy grail that is the Dark Knight Returns, when I saw it at the cinema I was saying the last few lines with him.
I can't stop watching batfelck fight scenes 😍
You should have added the final scarecrow fear gas fight from batman begins
Batfleck rules hands down!!
from a silly batman to a series batman
Kapow! Biff! Wham! Zzzzzzt! Ouch! Pow! Bam!
Anyone else feel the best thing about the Arkham combat (at least visually) is the fluidity of Bruce’s movements? Like one second he’s throwing some guy to the floor and in an instant he’s twenty feet away on the other side of the room punching another guy. That’s the kind of combat I personally want to see, I feel the way it looks in the games makes Batman seem like a much scarier figure
Warehouse scene is the best fight scene for Batman we have all witnessed
The Ben Affleck scene was brutal hahahaha I don’t care what anyone says about him but he made that batman so vicious in that scene hahahaah
Batfleck is the best!
Hail for the🦇🦇 Batman ❤❤ permanently forever after.

11:42 scared me a little
I got goosebumps when Batman kicked the SWAT policemen out the window
This should have been longer,
I thought Batman never wanted to kill anyone. Ben Affleck killed almost every guy that he fought 😂
Because this Batman went down a darker path. He lost Dick Grayson, Wayne Manor is burned down, and he feels like no progress to beating criminals.
