I am a white lady was maried to a Ghanaian. When i was in ghana i learned to cook the traditional on the coal pot outside, learning to cut veg in my hand. Learn to stir banku with massive spoon and my bare feet on the metal pot supports. I loved every minute of it. I remember a huge tilapia fish grilling on the coal pot smelling wonderful i thought theres only 2 for dinner im in for a feast, wrong they all turn up just as it was done dang... we used to gather round and enjoy it together. And i used yo get told off for forgetting which hand to use to take the food. Happy memories. Remember the good times to get you through.
