Do the OEM clamps not fit over the bushings that come with the bar? And am I seeing a raised lip in the bar that would suffice instead of adding lateral locks?
Did you need to replace any of the nuts and bolts as recommended by some people? Apparently they are stretch-style bolts that aren't supposed to be reused
Hey just wanted to ask, if you needed to get longer bolts when you added the strut bar? also did the vehicle had to be supported on a jack or isit just a simple bolt remove then add? cause I dont really want to go under the car and move things
@@MotoMedicine904 It might not be as bad as you think!! I've done one on the r53 and the f56 and it wasn't as bad as I expected!! Can't say about the r56 tho!
@@JulietteHallie Thanks for the reply. How complicated is the sub-frame drop? Special tools or precautions needed? Haven't done it before, always had access to sway bar links and mounts and I'm a bit hesitant.
@@JulietteHallie Yeah no I got E Torx sets, I was wondering more as to how much work is included because the Manufacturer's instructions on this job are pretty scary: a) Remove exhaust system b) Remover brake lines c) use a floor jack to suppor the entire thing etc. Are all these really needed or is it just a matter of removing the plastic covers and taking out the heat-shild and then just un-do the sub frame bolts? Sorry for all those questions but I can't find any video of someone showing the full process on this car. Thanks!

@@Chrisratata it’s been a while since this install but if I remember correctly it comes with extra clamps and does have the lips

I just unbolted with the car on the ground. I didnt add longer bolts
I need to do a rear sway.
For sure!!! It's amazing! Plus it was super easy to install!!!
@@JulietteHallie I've looked at Installs on the R series and dropping that subframe is what makes me just keep buying power adders lmao

I did the upper stress bar upgrade. Did you feel any difference with the rear upgrade?
Made a noticeable difference !!
Is that black bar you removed the stock rear sway bar? Or do mini f56s not come with one?
Yes it's the stock sway bar
Is it possible to access directly the end-links and sway bar to chassismounts on these cars or the sub-frame drop is inevitable?
I’m not 100% sure. But I think it would be difficult to do the job without dropping the subframe.

@@Idontwantausernamist I think all that is special is the Etorx but you should be able to purchase those sockets easily if you dont have a set already

@@Idontwantausernamist for a rear sway bar?
How did you get to tje upper/top beshing bolts?
We had to drop the rear subframe which makes it easier to access
How long did it take to install the rear bar?
Maybe 2 hours tops
@@JulietteHallie Thanks! - all the shops around me go by the book and want 4+ hours of $$$. If I was young like you I'd be doing it myself.
Where did you buy it from
Bought it off my friend. It's by NM engineering!!!
What a qt 😋
