I love this historical episode. We don't get pure historicals very often. I mean there was no aliens whatsoever it was crazy and delightful. At least I don't remember seeing any aliens.

Mark Shephard Sr. was in Max Headroom, one of the most iconic (and prescient) sci-fi series in the past 50 years. Mark Sheppard Jr. has been in just about *every* iconic sci-fi series of this generation!! What a freakin' family legacy!!

This is my favourite story of the revival. River is just fantastic in every single way.

Oh, that melody, the one that played at the Doctor’s funeral) It’s one of the most beautiful and somehow both soothing and haunting soundtracks in DW, and very meaningful, too. No spoilers, of course (unless you want them, don’t try to research the soundtrack’s name), but it only plays in certain specific moments and leads to one specifically magnificent)

Not seen this episode or series in years. When i was watching ur reaction i genuinly FORGOT about the silence until the first one appeared on screen. Officially freaked out.
When 11th said to Amy " are you being threatened..." He was full stop ready to 🛑 whoever did or was. #DoctorWho
I love how S6 carries on the momentum that we left off with in S5.
And then loses that momentum really hard with the rushed finale that should have been a 2 parter with james corden episode being absolutely unnecessary
@ranjanasharan4051 Yeah, I do think it would have benefitted from being a 2-part finale. Too interesting a concept to be wrapped up in one episode.

This season is phenomenal. I will say that I think the episodes that are not solidly a part of the main plot are just so-so. Not bad but meh. But the main plot arc is phenomenal.
