  • Otonic shows How to Midi Program Change in Ableton and gives 5 Tips for using Midi Live. In this tutorial we are using Ableton Live and iConnectivity MioXM to change sounds on external synth devices using midi clips in ableton. Synths used in the video are Korg MS2000B, Korg Kaoss pad KP3, Korg Kaossilator Pro and M Audio Trigger Finger for launching clips in ableton.
    Brief overview of tutorial at the end:
    Create Midi Clip
    Select the Midi Out Din Connector linked to the device you want to change.
    unselect Loop in clip
    add note to clip and change the program number to desired sound on device.
    launch clip and watch your device change sound.

    Thanks for video. I would suggest if you want a very compact single unit solution, then you could try Korg PA4x or Korg PA1000

      That’s a gnarly machine, I love all Korg synths. Would love to get my hands on one😄
