Jumped on late. (Watching 8 Minute Axe review). That Donner Wah pedal and Strat sounded great, even on my iPhone. That funk around 5 mins in was way cool. On another note, I have thoroughly enjoyed your CD’s, and I love the line in Gold Plated….”you can leave any time you like”. Perfect!!

Thanks for the demo Simon. The Donner envelope filter pedal is insanely reasonably priced, so why wouldn’t you have one? It sounds to me as though it would be a great addition to playing 1970s tracks like ‘Play Your Funky Music’ - the rhythm part. But it is a far cry (baby) from the distinctive sound made by Jim Dunlop’s wah used by Hendrix, Clapton et al (excuse the pun). Perhaps Donner should rebadge the unit as a ‘funk generator’. If so I think that they would sell heaps.

Funk Generator is a great name! Maybe we should buy some and re badge them! Lol. Thanks for watching David

What if we connect this pedal with an electric acoustic guitar? 😊
Also, if we put a screeching halt on the guitar?

Hi Panos, It would work on acoustic or electric. Not quite sure what you mean here though? "Also, if we put a screeching halt on the guitar?" - thanks for watching! Cheers Simon
