The little boy who won last night isn’t a country singer but still... this show is so lopsided cuz of the viewers. They need to make a show where professionals do ALL the judging.

I saw Judith Hill live in concert in October 2013 in Phoenix when she toured with Josh Groban for the In the Round tour! She’s amazing LIVE, she sang The Prayer with Josh and nailed it!
Seven years later, and I want to see her live. I'm glad we will soon be able to do that. But she's overseas a lot in the near future. What a great artist.

He started giving glory to God as soon as he saw her (her first name means "praise"). Her middle name ain't "glory" for nothin. lol
It sucks that she and sarah simmons (i think that's her name) were taken out the same week and judith threw some shade that made me feel like she knew she going to win but then again people dont vote cause of the voice itself (many times not even just in the voice) so her saying "the voice isnt really about the voice it's about many other thing's" i completely agree with...she got robbed

It's quite possible that she, being a very talented artist but struggling to create a successful solo career, just wanted the exposure but didn't really even want to win ultimately. She wouldn't have wanted to have to have them controlling her career. And she's a soul singer, not a pop singer. They may have made a deal with her along those lines. They get a very good artist to get ratings up, and she gets the exposure she wants, then she 'loses' and gets to go back to her own path. Everyone is happy. I mean you can tell how scripted it is. You really think the judges didn't know she was on the show and that it was her they were hearing when she started? They all would have known about her, being in the business as they are. She was on the widely viewed (and excellent) documentary "20 Feet from Stardom", which I'm guessing all or most of them would have seen. The best thing about shows like the Voice, X Factor, etc is that some talented artists are actually given the chance to perform to a broader audience, but the winners are by and large inconsequential insofar as they typically aren't the most talented, but rather the most popular. Witness the number of runners up on these various shows that go on to greater success and longer careers than the "winners" do. Yeah, I think Judith will be making music long after the spotlight has faded on whoever won that year and well beyond when the Voice is cancelled.
