GUYS!! Unboxing this was just.... so special 🥹 thank you for coming off grid with us to find some serious gems around QT ... and for being here, like, in general 🫶🏻
I been watching you guys for a month and today because of your 100K, I decided to congratulate you guys by subscribing, and helping you boost your channel, I live in Australia and am originally from NZ, and watching these videos you present makes me smile, thank you.
I have been to Moke Lake in 2004 as part of a social mountain bike rally. I have skied at a Remarkables Ski field in 1988 (only time I have skied). But wow, I’m inspired to explore Lake Alta. Thanks for sharing your videos
Got yourself a new subscriber… referred by Glen and Mado.. here to stay as I love seeing our overseas visitors loving this country… Thanks guys for your lovely content on Moke Lake, it’s a very special place :)
Well earned team. Congrats on the hundy K. What a huge and great effort. 👏🏽🤝🏽👍 i also can't believe how well yr Rangerover is taking the crappy roads 😂. Have fun and appreciate yr work guy's. 🇳🇿p.s i think it's pronounced mō-keh lake.
Hey guys, would you be better getting a DOC annual pass? It's $195 per person but that's all you pay for an entire year. I see you've already been to several DOC camps so maybe it would be worth your while? I'm glad you are enjoying NZ - just wait until you travel to Lake Pukaki and Lake Tekapo and up to Whitehorse Camp ground at Aoraki Mt Cook (for the Hooker Track)!! Those places are the best.
Thought the intro was filmed in winter, looks nippy. We were there in Jan and traffic is bad, but compared to where we live in Bangkok so it’s pleasant compared to that.
why do people Vlog? I live in QT after living in many places around the world before the great internet take over, just get on with it. In fact if you leave the tech alone, you may even encounter a spiritual path. Your choice
I've been making videos since I was 6 years old and my parents let me use their VHS camera. This was after catching me, when I would steal all of my parents film cameras and use up all of the film taking photos of things I saw. I started working professionally in media when I was 15 years old, and my experience in TV commercials paid for my way through film school as soon as I turned 18. After getting my degree in film and working in the film industry, I decided I wanted my own creative outlet so I started documenting our travels. Now we make money from it. You couldn't rip a camera out of my hands if you tried.
I love that travellers blog! We have a motorhome (live in NZ) and I learn so much from other travellers, especially places to see that I would never find myself.

It was so cold this morning!!! Oh my we miss Bangkok - we'd visit during long weekends when we lived & worked in Phnom Penh. Such a fun city.
@@nickandraychel haha that’s awesome, but it wears you down, my wife and I try to get to NZ / central otago whenever we get the chance.
It's sad that Nick doesn't have his skateboard. Worth buying a board and selling it when you leave?
How sick would it be to skate that road!!! send it
Haha to be fair Nick says this about A LOT of roads here
You guys should become vegan hippies, you know you want to lol
we are vegan lol
@@nickandraychel That's cool, do you guys eat brown rice or whole wheat?
Please stay away. Tourists are ruining this place.
