Thank you so much for the very informative video! I am trying to salvage two root bound basil plants. Hopefully they will flourish after using your tips.
You sure this wont KILL the plants im terrified 2kill the "double planed" plants ive just bought where the 2 are in 1 cube in containers and theyre soooo wrapped & intertwined together😢😢
You’re going to limit it’s growth if you fuck with the roots. Sure you can live without arms and legs but most likely it’s painful and your growth may be limited. For fucks sake

Thanks for this video. I just bought a big rosemary plant, that was root bound. I now have two. ♡
Awesome! I'm glad it helped.
So crazy I would have never known to do this! Thanks now I can start a flourishing plant garden!
Thank you Elizabeth, Happy gardening!
Thank you for the helpful demonstration and explanation. You make me think I might be able to do that without killing the plants...maybe!

Pry them apart while soaking in water.
I only suggest this for a plant that is very badly rootbound. I would love to hear what worked for you.

Give it a try, this is only for a plant that is severely root bound. I have tremendous success everytime, it gives them a new lease on life.
