Mine´s a red eurospec ´89, it´s the same but the bumper has no fog lights.

Based on the dash that's an 88 or 89 crx but can't tell without seeing the inside door panels. I had an 89 Si I still miss

Kom er via jouw website achter dat je dichterbij woont dan ik dacht :) Mijn favoriete jeugdauto, waar ik er zelf twee van heb gehad IRL; de Honda CR-X. Ik heb deze modelkit weten te bemachtigen bij een lokale modelbouw-shop en zal jouw video hier en daar gebruiken als guideline :). Want jouw versie is echt wel meesterlijk gelukt! (P.S. zag achteraf dat deze modelkit bij jou op de website stukken voordeliger is dan waar ik 'm vandaan heb.... :S. Voortaan eerst even op jouw website kijken :-))

Can these sorta model cars be painted with model paints/paint brushes as opposed to an airbrush? Been looking into a 1/24th scale model myself but having to spend 2x the model price on an airbrush puts me off

When using Tamiya acrylic paints on a airbrush, do you mix it with thinner? What's the ratio? Thanks
Yes with x20a, not sure. I just keep adding thinner until it flows through nicely

Nice build as always! One question; I notice that you always paint the headlight buckets silver but irl they are always chromed. Can they be painted with Alclad chrome to make them look even more realistic?
Sure. It would just be a huge amount of work in this case as its a molded in piece to the body. Youd need to mask if off apply a gloss black and then the alclad. For a very minor difference if you ask me. But it is possible. Yes
You can also try and bare metal foil the inside but the wrinkles are a hassle.

All forums are pretty much dead. Sadly facebook seems to be where everyone is. No real quality content there mostly though :(
That's too bad.. guess I will stick with RUclips as I don't have a facebook account and don't want one. I'm glad we have a small few great channels like yours here to learn about the hobby.
I don't mean to bring up an old thread, but Instagram is filled with fantastic modellers! Once you start searching for 1/24 scale model pages, your explore page will slowly start flowing with many other modellers. Everyone is incredibly nice and knowledgeable, I've learned lots from many instagrammers!

How do you wipe the excess panel line marking?
