DIY Plaster Dipped Roses Art

  • Create your own gallery art piece by using silk flowers in a whole new way! I’ll show you how to dip them into plaster of Paris and attach them to a plywood backed frame. I also demonstrate how to create more interest by adding decor moulds using hot glue!

    Looking around & found you! I learned way back when, haha😁 to use Gesso, how would u compare the 2 products, only if you’ve used Gesso on silk, of course:) great idea the glue gun! Beautiful piece!!!💕Subscribed! Thanks so much for sharing! God Bless! 👋😁👍💕🙏

      I've not used Gesso - does it set up like the plaster of paris? Always up for new art experiments. Thank you!

      Scenic Route - Painting Outside the Lines yes, it does. It’s the consistency of a thin frosting, for lack of a better example :) more fluid. I like using it. Paints on nicely with a brush but use it in my hands to coat petals, leaves, etc., messy :) Lol try it! Love your work! 💕🙏👋😁

      I hope you find the Facebook live I done that I shared to my business page- under the albu called "live events". But yes! I do need to make a video just for the ombre painting effect shown here. :)

    I like craft but some how this is particularly much to tideious, messy and 'ify'

      That’s alright, we each have our own things to create. I like to experiment with different mediums & sometimes the mess is 1/2 the fun for me.
