I’m more to this whole media thing as I’m a card maker but I like the idea that if I wanted a more dimensional paste I could just add more plaster of Paris! Great video! Smart! Tfs!
This makes a whole lotta sense to make it with plaster of paris as apposed to baby powder thank you very much 👍🙂
I think plaster will crack in the long run
@@rosietass7988it's been stated in another comment here that it won't

Arte brigade Ahhh, okay got it. Thanks so much!!!!!!
Thank you😍😍😍
👏👏👏
thank you so much......
can i mix this texture color with any color?
and can i use this texture color in any canvas or paper?
Yes
How about calcium carbonate instead of plaster of paris? I make my own fabulous chalk paint with calcium carbonate and latex paint and a little water, so I'm thinking the same recipe only thicker for stencil texture and just adding Elmer's glue? I'm not sure what the glue does, is it a hardener?
For thick texture I mix 2 parts plaster to 1 part glue and 1 part paint
Ty for making it simple. What if I only have cheep craft paint. It watery. How much would I use? One tb spoon?
Add according to the consistency
What is plaster of Paris? IS it cement?
Thanks for sharing your tips. How long can you use this mixture until it dries?
Yes
So helpful ty second time I’ve watched it. Do you use it all or can you store it?

Hello. Does plaster of paris crack after its dried? I made texture paste with pottery plaster, water, glue and paint but it comes off the canvas easily.
No it won't
Pls don't add water in the mixture.
Its very nice paste. It looks very smooth. Can we use it on cardboard for making them strong and then start doing mud and mirror art or lippan art or any other painting? Plz reply
It would work on cardboard if you paint cardboard with a couple of coats of gesso first ( make with equal parts of white glue, white acrylic paint and talcum powder)

I’ve done texture painting on canvas and it doesn’t need gesso, of course of never used homemade medium, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work without gesso
do we add colour to this mixture or we add the colour instead of white colour?
Use different colour if u want different color texture paste
