    Until I can't support him anymore, I will support Erik ten Hag. He has this Manchester United team fighting, a manager without the support of his players doesn't get a result like that against Liverpool. Come on Erik, find a way to the Champions League places and an FA Cup final win...even if it is through the means of chaos.
    I don't think this season has turned Ten Hag into a bad coach and if he can come through it all, nail the summer and next season injuries aren't such a plague, who is to say he can't build more?

      Sam, Ten Hag out played Klopp yesterday. Our kids slapped Klopp, back this manager, get good, technical, athletic players in his squad and he'll prove the people who backed him right

    • @civildiscourse7626
      @civildiscourse7626 8 месяцев назад +3

      All this talk of backing is simple- you’ll be backed if you do well or are seen to be progressing. We talk about a rebuild of squad but that means getting rid of some players- does that mean we’re bad for not backing those players too? I’ve given ETH until the end of the season but if the season ends badly and he gets sacked then so be it. This is man united- you don’t and shouldn’t get given so much time to be crap.

      Erik deserves more credit - hes rebuilding a team and bringing the culture back into the club slowly, people can rush to an opinion on a manager but all he needs is time-And if we was to get a new manager who would we go for? I feel like getting rid of ten hag would be a terrible decision

    Keep supporting Ten Hag. This year has been rough with all the injuries, but he deserves at least one more year. He will turn it around, he always did in the past. He might even be the coach that is going to bring you a new premier league title when he has the squad without the injuries. One more year of building a team would be amazing. Even Anthony is starting to score. Rashford is back on track. Garnacho and Mainoo accelerating in performance. Ten Hag will do what must be done and has been doing that since he started at United. Greetings from an Ajax fan that hasn't missed a game of United for 2 years.

    I think people are really underestimating how well we played yesterday. We went toe to toe and bettered one of the best teams in the league. More shots, better chances, they scored 2 deflections. This manager can take us far, with the right players. Best day of the season so far.
    No one has made a peep about Ederson against Liverpool, same situation for Onana and he was calm, didn't make an error and snuffed the danger out. He's class, Mainoo, Garnacho, Bruno ran his socks off again. Still buzzing haha

      @dadajulius6489 8 месяцев назад

      @@freeKick185 He inherited a team that had and still has problems of which most of the problems were in existence long before Ten Hag's arrival. The behind the scenes officials from Ed Woodward, Matt Judge, John Mortough and Richard Arnold were not and still are not good enough. When Jurgen Klopp got to Liverpool, it took him a couple of years to get into the top four. In his early days lasting up to his first 3 years were not OK for a big Club like Liverpool. Yet the Club backed him even when he had a lot of bad results. Can you remember that under Luis Van Gaal, United beat Liverpool home and away 3-0; 2-1. Klopp lost some games embarrassingly, yet the Club backed him. Why shouldn't United back Ten Hag?
      He met players he wanted the Club to sell like Maguire, Martial and Tominay but the Club couldn't sell them for him to use the money for players he needed to improve the team. The main reason these players were difficult to offload was their high wages. How many teams in Europe will want to pay Maguire £195,00 a week? What about Martial that's injury prone earning £250,000 a week? Ten Hag was not at United when the likes of Ed Woodward and Matt Judge were dishing out ridiculous wages to bang average players!
      Ten Hag has made mistakes but I still believe he's got something to offer. In his first season when there were minimal injuries he led the team to a third place finish, won a Cup and qualified the team to play in the UCL. The insane number of injuries affected the United squad.
      The Press has always been against United. Many of these Journalists have their own Club they support. United were hated because of the success achieved during the Sir Alex Ferguson era. So the Press will want Ten Hag to fail just like all other Managers after Ferguson left. The Glazers have also made things hard for the Club. Can you compare Football people like Ed Woodward and Matt Judge to Omar Berrada and Dan Ashworth? The difference is clear. Even the best Manager in World Football will struggle with that current United squad due to a lot of injuries problems and some average players. Some injured players came back against Liverpool and the team improved despite the obvious deficiencies in the squad as a whole. I understand and respect your opinion but I stand by Ten Hag staying beyond this season.

    Well done Sam! Brilliant video and I am with you 100%
    Erik ten Hag deserves our support. The amount of crap he’s had to endure is ridiculous. Yeah, there have been dark days under his stewardship and the win against Liverpool is in danger of papering over those cracks. However, I truly believe that given a squad that can manage to remain fit for most of the season he can bring back the glory days.
    One of the few benefits of being old is the truth that age can bring with it a sense of perspective. I am now 64 years old but that means I can remember, as a 14 year old boy, sitting on the floor of the Stretford End in floods of tears as we were relegated. The following season still remains one of the greatest I’ve ever experienced as a United fan. The Doc wasn’t sacked, he was allowed to rebuild the team and rebuild he did.
    So, yes we’ve had some bad days recently but I sense a rebirth is just around the corner… without having to be relegated in order to make it happen this time. I truly believe INEOS, in league with Erik ten Hag as manager, are going to put United firmly back on top of English & European football

    Agree with most of everything you said since August (when I started following you) and also believe that with a stable club structure and luck in injuries, ETH can lead us back to the top. The change in mentality of senior players and the belief he instilled in the youth has not been appreciated enough! I only disagree with your stance about Greenwood but other than that, 100% with you on anything you have said all season. At the end of the day, GGMU!

    We all easily forget SAF was facing the sack in the 1989/90 season. Lost 4 out of 5 games, EtH has my backing, and we should give this guy a chance. Doesn't complain when things get tough, the kind of mentality we just need.

    I saw an interview the other day with Erik ten hag when he met Rio he said straight away it’s not about him nothing is about him and that’s it’s about the club and that he loves Manchester United he isn’t here for personal records he truly is here to try and get us back up there which other mangers since Fergie has said it’s not about him and that he really loves the club not one of them halve he’s made mistakes but who doesn’t it’s such a massive club it would be hard for anyone we have to give him more time sell the right players and help him get better players I truly truly back him more than any manager we’ve had since Fergie don’t always listen to after match conferences but I do alway listen to his proper private 1 to 1 interviews and he always says the right things about the club it’s never ever about him if we get other things right he will get it right on the pitch the most annoying thing is why dont the players show up like that for every game they need to take more responsibility

    I will support Erik Ten Hag nomatter what, with the proper structure he will take us to the top without a doubt, it makes me emotional man
    Erik Ten Hag with INEOS and Omar Berrada and many of the top lads that he’s going to be working with starting at the end of this season is what is going to take us back to the top, mind you it won’t be pretty but eventually you will see the flashy football with time and patience, criticism is valid yes that’s part of the game, but I urge fans to keep believing in him and INEOS to help him get us back to the very top where we belong ❤ GGMU

    Yeah maan
    I just explained the same thing you said to my friends earlier
    This was not how it looked at the end of mourinho solskjaer ragnick etc
    It's different
    The players understands how tough a job Erik ten hag is having to do
    And if he gets through something deep as this , maan no manager have done that
    This is the kind of base you need for magical days like Ferguson days
    Just like Alex I hope Erik can get through this

      Spot on, Ten Hag at this moment is dealing with a jigsaw puzzle of a squad with missing pieces and pieces that don't fit correctly. He needs more time to get the transfers in and out under the new hierarchy and then we'll see if he's fit for the job.

    Some people think winning is only about dominating and not conceding but when you go to war with one of the best teams in the league/ world (yes they had injuries too) and give all the heart the players did - that is the spirit of Manchester United. We fight to the very end

    I completely forgot until now, but I do think I remember seeing McTominay making doing the "rolling hand" thing towards the bench near the end of the game, like he wanted to be subbed of.
    But at the same time it looked a bit half-hearted, and it could have been a question to the bench about switching positions too, because there was a lot of that going on.

    Was a fortnight ago listening to the podcast where the Monday Night Football team had welcomed Ole Gunnar Solskjær and were merely shooting the breeze.
    The skipper, Roy Keane said something poignant. "It is not only the players in the first 11 that win you titles but the entire squad of 25. At mid-season, injuries set in, knocks, niggles, fatigue. It is those on the periphery that will be called upon to make the final push to a title like Ole & Sheringham in 1999."
    It exactly rang ever so true with Amad Diallo Traore, Antony, Mason Mount & Christian Eriksen last evening.
