What I love about these kind of videos is they show reality! Plus, look how much of that kitchen got cleaned while macaroni boiled. It just goes to show how little time some things actually take, even if we build them in our minds to be a huge task. And you gotta love mom eating the leftovers while she cleans. 😆
Awww becky your not a terrible mum at all sweetheart, the most important thing is that your children are loved and cared for and you do all that. Our babies growing up is hard, changes are hard but I bet your children are so proud to have you as their mommy. Your a fantastic mom so remember to be kind to yourself x
Coming in a little late with my comment but GIRL!! you are a great mom and I feel you on all the emotions with kids getting bigger. I have felt the same and still have moments I do. My kids are 9 and 11 and I have had the moments of the baby books I didn't do anything in ; yes I still have them with like 2 entries. Reading them helps me remember and think back. It's so hard but that's part of why having children is so beautiful. We get to watch them grow and just stack all the memories. The more the better. Forgetting some means you have filled them with better ones. I love you girl. We will all get through this whole mom thing with smiles on our faces and all the stories.

I’m only on my first child but I am also terrible about filling books out and keeping up with printing out pictures and such. I’m so glad that before my son was born I came across Chatbooks $5 mini monthly books, it’s 30 pictures of your choice every month in a mini book. I have done this since my son was born and it’s awesome because I always have pictures so it’s a good way to keep up and have the memories and super affordable! It would be a good idea for your next or even to start now. 🥰
I love your videos, you are so real and relatable. You are not alone in the mom guilt about documenting things. I was so overwhelmed when I found out I was having twins that I didn’t document the pregnancy the way I wish I had. And after they were born I had really bad PPD/PPA. I was on medication and In therapy and was still struggling. I did not document things the way I wanted to. My twins just turned 4 and my youngest is about to turn 3. I am finally starting to feel like myself again and regretting all the things I didn’t do. I know I shouldn’t but you know how it is.

Oh,man! I hate the kids are sick and I hope they feel better soon!! I have three also and when mom life calls, everything else can wait.. even tho I sometimes have a hard time telling my anxiety that. Lol! When mine had HFM she only got blisters on her hands and feet.. none in her mouth (thank God!) But she was very uncomfortable and in some pain with the blisters she did have. Alternating oatmeal and apple cider vinegar baths were a life saver and then put either witch hazel or anti itch ointment on after the bath with socks on.. you're doing a great job, mama, keep it up! ❤
I love your videos, I filled out my first son's book and then my next two children life happened I was in survival mode , better to be present and a great mom that is what they will remember.
I felt so free when I decluttered the baby books. I don't have the mental energy to keep up with them. It is a lot to expect of ourselves. We don't need things that make us feel like crap.

I love your videos & loved the vlog style! I’m a mom of 3 and your videos are so relatable. I also found myself chuckling at how full your dishwasher was. Mom life 😂 I go over to my parents and she has like nothing in her dishwasher compared to us. Someday 😂😂
The babies are so cute💜 best thing to do to deal with hand foot and mouth is do the best you can to keep surfaces and toys clean! I use to work at a preschool where cases of hand foot mouth happened more than we liked but when the outbreaks happened we would clean all the toys with bleach water and surfaces of the rooms. Anything fabric materials we used laundry sanitizer to clean them with. Use whatever bleach alternative you'd prefer because I know you try to not use harsh chemicals which is fine but sometimes with things like hand foot and mouth you need to just keep toys as clean and sanitized as possible! Use whatever works best for you!! I'm glad your babies are feeling better!

I have 2 boys and they both had the HFM virus when they were smaller. Your totally right about keeping them comfortable and letting them "do them" while they heal. My son had it a few years ago. He had blisters in his mouth and a rash everywhere I just kept him hydrated and gave soft foods. Washed his crib sheet every couple days till it was gone and kept all his toys washed everyday. Just keeping them comfortable
I was one of 4 kids, my mom only did one baby book, of course her first, I had one, I had time to fill it out fully, don’t beat yourself up, being there for them everyday is certainly more important. Loved your video today, hope your kids are feeling better.😊

I put the stuff on the bed and then get tired / bored / busy and it goes back on the floor lol. I do like getting it off the floor as it makes me feel so much better . The mess stresses me out. Love this video...it was like spending the day with you. While I totally understand you feeling bad about the books, truly when your kids are grown, you will look at pictures not look up the day they first sat up. Take lots of pictures but really enjoy them. They grow up when you blink. Now I have grandchildren and I can't imagine how that happened! (And they don't want their baby books not that I filled them all out.) Live for today and enjoy them. And I would love more of these videos. I really love your hair this color-you are beautiful!
Love it your doing great when my kids had that illness it was horrible but try and give them cold popsicles to numb there mouth it helps . And you doing amazing you have little ones and it hard to keep everyone together but again your doing great 👍

Yes! I can totally relate to not documenting enough or taking monthly pictures on time. I try to keep up with the baby books and life just takes over and I don't always get then done and I feel like a terrible mom when I don't stay on top of it. My youngest daughter just turned 9 months today and I realized I never took her 8 month old picture or documenting in her baby book 🤦♀️I also love this style of video. This is one of my favorites!
When I was having a big cleaning day I would always start with a crockpot meal. That way I didn't have to stop for dinner prepping and cooking. It was already done and ready when we wanted it.
I’m a grandma now Becky and I want to reach through the channel and tell you ITS OK!! You have been busy making memories and being Mom. It’s hard to document everything while the kids are little. I felt so guilty when I didn’t do my sons’ baby books. But looking back now, my kids don’t care AT ALL. In fact, I DID do scrapbooks for each of them that literally took me weeks to do and neither of them could care less. Even when my oldest had his daughter, I thought he’d want his scrapbook then. Nope, he just didn’t care at all. Last year my Mom passed away and us kids were forced to go through her stacks and stacks of photos and baby books and mementos. And guess what? All four of us dreaded going through it and would have traded every photo and every single page of our baby books for just another day with her. And the thought of hauling it all home to stack in our garages and attics was daunting to day the least. So I know it’s hard to see it now when you feel like youve missed something you can’t get back. But from my vantage point, I promise you that being there is what matters. The rest is just stuff.

Don't feel guilty just because you didn't manage to fill up this book. Just because so many do it doesn't mean you're a bad mom for not making it! You always carry the memory with you in your heart! Everyone is laid out differently and constantly caring for 4 children, one man and one house, plus dealing with one's own inner experience is certainly not easy. You're fine the way you are!

Love this video...it was like spending the day with you. While I totally understand you feeling bad about the books, truly when your kids are grown, you will look at pictures not look up the day they first sat up. Take lots of pictures but really enjoy them. They grow up when you blink. Now I have grandchildren and I can't imagine how that happened! (And they don't want their baby books not that I filled them all out.) Live for today and enjoy them. And I would love more of these videos. I really love your hair this color-you are beautiful!
The throw everything on the bed was how my sister and I used to clean our room. I still do that even now.

Love it your doing great when my kids had that illness it was horrible but try and give them cold popsicles to numb there mouth it helps . And you doing amazing you have little ones and it hard to keep everyone together but again your doing great 👍

Yes! I can totally relate to not documenting enough or taking monthly pictures on time. I try to keep up with the baby books and life just takes over and I don't always get then done and I feel like a terrible mom when I don't stay on top of it. My youngest daughter just turned 9 months today and I realized I never took her 8 month old picture or documenting in her baby book 🤦♀️I also love this style of video. This is one of my favorites!
When I was having a big cleaning day I would always start with a crockpot meal. That way I didn't have to stop for dinner prepping and cooking. It was already done and ready when we wanted it.
Growing up we would sweep up everything into a pile in the middle of the room, or make the bed and put everything on the bed. Still do this lol
I’m a grandma now Becky and I want to reach through the channel and tell you ITS OK!! You have been busy making memories and being Mom. It’s hard to document everything while the kids are little. I felt so guilty when I didn’t do my sons’ baby books. But looking back now, my kids don’t care AT ALL.
In fact, I DID do scrapbooks for each of them that literally took me weeks to do and neither of them could care less. Even when my oldest had his daughter, I thought he’d want his scrapbook then. Nope, he just didn’t care at all.
Last year my Mom passed away and us kids were forced to go through her stacks and stacks of photos and baby books and mementos. And guess what? All four of us dreaded going through it and would have traded every photo and every single page of our baby books for just another day with her. And the thought of hauling it all home to stack in our garages and attics was daunting to day the least.
So I know it’s hard to see it now when you feel like youve missed something you can’t get back. But from my vantage point, I promise you that being there is what matters. The rest is just stuff.

Don't feel guilty just because you didn't manage to fill up this book. Just because so many do it doesn't mean you're a bad mom for not making it! You always carry the memory with you in your heart! Everyone is laid out differently and constantly caring for 4 children, one man and one house, plus dealing with one's own inner experience is certainly not easy. You're fine the way you are!
