Love the japanese philosophy/mindset! Guys blow up engines or crashes, not even pissed about it (at least on the very moment), people helping each others and participate on cleaning the track. Wish all countries in the world would be like that...

One time in D1GP where masato kawabata and daigo saito crashed each other there were peices in the the track and the personeps cleaned up then the drivers volunteered to make the track fresh again even though they are wasting their tires for nothing. Still respect to them.

Oil squirter screw loosen itself from a lack of proper tightening or just because vibrations, oil pressure drop,engine blows up.
Like always ,a simple oil pressure switch could have saved the engine by cutting spark ,fuel or even closing air supply.

I love this style drift events, so much more fun. Everyone seems to be having such a good time. And love seeing drivers I've grown up watch, yoichi and kazama, so glad to see them still enjoying the sport. Can't wait for a ride along.

Sooo dope!! So many sick cars. Always loved old soarers. Got my hyped seeing V35 sedan drifting. I got the same model same colour, finishing a 6mt swap on mine this weekend. Itching hard to blow some tyres off it!!
Thank God someone else noticed, I got a 05 6mt sedan 6 months ago, it's in storage now but I have a stack of parts to put on it whenever these 3ft of snow melt

Love the culture at Japan's tracks particularly this event. They even got the kids helping out. I'm sure they'll all grow up and drift old 2019 86s. Side note, really digging the "No Country for Old Men" look.

Omg it's so good to see Kazama alive and well and doing what he does best. I used to watch him in old D1 videos as well as Touge Showdown on the Best Motoring videos. He was part of Kei Office which was Keiichi Tsuchiya's tuning shop and ran a Kei Office S15 in D1 and a convertible S13 for the rodeo drift technique. He was one of my favourite drifters of that era but dissapeared without a trace about 10 years ago. What happened to him Alexi? Why don't you hear about Kazama anymore? Did he just stop competing?

how come the v35 and v36 platforms are so much less popular for drifting in Japan than they are in the states? I drive a G37S coupe and it's a great drift car, and they're basically just a longer wheelbase version of the 350z/370z, with identical engines, transmissions, and suspension
Those were some rad oldschool drift cars you don't see much of these days, FC RX7, Z20 Soarer, JZX81 Chaser (hnnnnnng), not a huge fan of the V35 Skyline but hey at least its something different.

I rather loved this episode for showing the community and social responsibility aspect of Japan. The first example being the fellow that blew his 4AG; granted it was -his- motor that blew, but it's just expected and done of him to walk the course and find all the bits that could potentially hurt anothers' car.
The second example being at the end of the day when everyone walked the track to pick up the chunky boys. Again, just expected and done by everyone, kids and adults alike. I dig this a -lot-.
