I agree Kenny, its disrespectful to our sport to switch channels at the end. They wouldn't do it for other sporting events. I think Amazon, and the new streaming services will provide a better experience for the fans.
I've been complaining about the NASCAR TV deals for years. It's ruined it for me. You can't watch the whole season without a paid service. Now you can't even watch the whole race. I'll catch highlights, but I won't worry about catching the race live anymore.
I was very worried during the last caution lap that the six car was going to run right out of gas right as the green flag was put out. Kudos to him for being out there for so many laps that if not for that caution he might have made it right to the very edge of the finish line
Larson was running the top guys down for laps and laps, driving his ass off on way more fuel. Either way, caution or not, Larson had the inside line and nobody was going to pass him. He earned this win 100%
Those moves he was pulling were on point. That is driving the car to its limits masterfully, say what you want about the finish but he worked to get there
Gotta prop up the golden boy marketing cash cow. They had that nice picture of him on the podium 800 times and made sure to get the zoomed in shots several times of it. Do you think any of that would have happened if Zane Smith won?
NASCAR doesn't have its best interest at heart. They literally ended yet another race because a Hendricks car was out front and they wonder why no one watches or cares anymore.
Jeff Burton brought up that Larson may have jumped the restart, because Blaney became the leader when Brad pitted for fuel, not Larson. If this is true, apparently NASCAR had no interest in reviewing the restart.
I was out in my food plots, getting the sd cards, hung 2 stands. Short story, i was freaking busy, so i recorded it and added 3 hours for safety. Imagine my surprise, especially as a larson fan. Oh i was fvvking pissed off.
Don't blame it on how big the speedways are because they used to sell out even when the big speedways like Charlotte had stands all the way around, turn one and turn two
Kenny, I'm a 47 year old, coal mining, Hillbilly, in Eastern Kentucky. I used to go Bristol at least once a year. Ive been to Daytona in 02. Martinsville several times, Richmond twice, & Darlington once in 18. Met Donnie Allison at the raceway grill. I grew up in the 80"s watching Nascar with my Papaw on Sundays The last few years, i have completely lost interest because i feel that modern Nascar doesn't care if a white guy like is still a fan. The stages suck. They're just pre scheduled commercial breaks. The chase/playoff in NO WAY REPRESENTS A CHAMPION of the season. I've gone from attending races in person to staying home & watching on tv. I used to set the dvr to record the races. Last season, i stopped setting the dvr. So now i don't even watch the race. If i want to see who won & how it happened, i go watch the highlights on RUclips. I think ive done that 4 times this season. Nascar ain't what it used to be. I dont like the direction the sport is going & i dont like where it is now. Im out. I've been a fan for as long as i can remember. I used to never miss watching a race. Now you're saying that nascar airs most of the race on nbc. But if the race goes long, they switch to a different network.....AT THE END OF THE RACE! OMG! Its no wonder nascar is losing its CORE FAN BASE!
Indy is a real snoozfest and always has been and you can see not many fans there. the only place i seen packed so far was last week at pocono which is kind of a surprise since its one of the worst tracks on the circuit
Kenny, I watched the Live feed from Larson's car and he drove masterfully through the field from 23rd to the win in the last 50 laps. The way he set those guys up for the pass was genius!
Hey Kenney I’ve been watching you a long time on RUclips and was a fan when you raced NASCAR. I watch your dirt racing when it’s shown on RUclips. I was wondering being that you were to have raced Tony Stewart’s racing series last year and then halted and put on hold, if you going to get to race in any of Ray Everham’s iron race cars this year? Thank you Charles Keziah.
I didn't see it live I was sleeping cuz third shift work demands it, but the highlight reel showed some huge wrecks 2 big ones it seemed, as well as some close racing, congradulations to kyle, now all he needs to do is win the indy 500 sometime and he will have won every class that races there, minus the 8 hours of indy or the gp, but he won bc 39, and now the brickyard, the guy has won at irp at least once on the ovel last year there, and was the last to win at the state fair though how I wish a long dirt track would return to indy, I think circle city and the speeddrome are the only ones he hasn't won at, put on a decent show at eldora for sure, though got down to the last 2 laps and his engine lost power, but yea cutting to another channel then cutting off with 2 laps to go and heard they didn't even say they were changing, that was a dirty thing to do. they dont do that even with the olympics, indy had a big weekend because they also had the first national eucheristic congress in 80 years for the catholics and christians and they broadcast many of the events on the radio and streamed on web and tv on ewtn, its like a revival of sorts and an educational series to cultivate love of Christ and sit before the Blessed Sacrament that is a consecrated Communion bread, since we belive that its substance changes to the body and blood soul and divinity of Jesus though the promise at the last supper and Through the power of the Holy Ghost yea it might be far fetched to many people but its fundamental to our faith as catholics the source and summit of our faith and at the blessing of the bread and wine though the Holy Ghost we are taken back to that second at the last supper when Jesus instituted the Eucherest and Precious blood. it was a big gathering even bigger then when the pope might come to a place sometimes.
You would love the fuel injection motor in my winged sprint! I know not allowed but i bet id love your motor in my car like yours! With that said though i haven't lost a race in it with the motor I've got!
If the broadcast cannot remain on the same channel for the entire duration of the event, then it should not begin on that channel AT ALL. Not everyone has all of the options and it is disrespectful to dismiss their desires. The "news" was not a surprise to anyone and therefore NOT NEWS. Great finish for #11! 🤣😂
If they paid more money they would get first in line for broadcast. They did not, they get bumped. Fans seem to think that the few thousand that post stuff turns into millions when upset. It is a lower spec series with a fading fan base.
i always come to You for the much needed debullshitting from nascar,,i wasflippin channels and came across the race,,really caught my attention,,kinda a real nail biter at the end,,,,what happens??? i dont get to see the finish cause nbc decided the local news (B S ) was more important to broadcast,,,,,i might as well start watchin the wnba,,they wouldnt cut that off !!!!
The need to switch networks at the end of the race was unfortunate. I have USA Network so it wasn’t a big deal. Crowd size, IMS is big! If 70,000 tickets were sold the place would look a little empty. I’ve visited IMS twice, great Museum, rode the bus around the track. The place has got to be terrible to watch a race at. You can’t see that much of the track. I have known people who attended races there and they stated the same thing. The spectacle was great but the amount of racing you get to see wasn’t unless you were where the action was.
Networks stack live events nose to tail on the weekend day schedule. They only allow a certain amount of time for live coverage of each event plus commercials. When that time is up, the network is obligated to cover the next event. If an event, say a NASCAR race is delayed due to a red flag for say thirty minutes, that is thirty minutes off the network time scheduled for that race coverage. So, the network tries to meet its obligation to both live events by switching live coverage of the NASCAR race over to another network channel. Then they pickup coverage for the next live event say NHRA Drag Racing on time on the scheduled channel. It sure sucks to have to flip to another channel to see the conclusion of the event that ran over its time, but it is really all about network obligations and revenue. Those without cable who can’t just change the channel to see the end of the race will have to go to internet coverage or listen in on the MRN radio coverage. It sucks but is the way weekend live sporting events are scheduled. It sucks. Did I say, it sucks?
I know you hate to hear this but for a big time Indy race it was no fans there! Plus its no denying Hendrick bought this race as he has many others. Any other team other than Hendrick's and the caution would of been thrown when it should of been.
Stopped watching NASCAR years ago and started watching this race till couple minutes before he end and NBC changed over to a local community show ????? Never again, will just look up the results from now on.
At 4 minutes you said that Kyle Bush was the fastest and was going to win it anyways... you meant Karson..lol. That damn switching channels is BS...glad I have a subscription that has both channels...but not everyone does
Yes Kyle Larson was running cars down and had the fastest car. As a HMS fan, I'm happy he won, but I honestly believe Nascar knew that car wasn't going to get rolling way before they took the white flag and intentionally waited until it was waved before they threw out the caution, and that, no matter who was in the lead, I don't agree with.
Are you kidding me NBC; you’re right Herm, the next to biggest race of the year and you turn it off on the last lap. NBC’s management sucks, not the first time this has happened! And what did they turn to a 30 minute infomercial. Stay on theme Herm maybe they will listen. I hope your ratings reflect this type crap!!!
Herman I think you just hide a Biden moment. You Kyle Bush was the fastest car😮 😅 you ment Kyle Larson. All good you can still run the presidential race. Lol love you man 😅
I agree Kenny, its disrespectful to our sport to switch channels at the end. They wouldn't do it for other sporting events. I think Amazon, and the new streaming services will provide a better experience for the fans.
I was there in person and despite the controversial finish it was great to see the brickyard 400 returning
The Brickyard crash up Derby I guess it was okay for a crash up Derby
Thanks for bringing this up. I was out so started recording and missed the whole ending. All these networks seem to have given up.
Smartest thing Hendrick ever did was hire Larson. He's a stud driver and a nice guy. He'll stick around and sign autographs after racing all night. 👍👍
The first change of channels I agreed with. The second I didn't. They should have finished the race on NBC.
I've been complaining about the NASCAR TV deals for years. It's ruined it for me. You can't watch the whole season without a paid service. Now you can't even watch the whole race.
I'll catch highlights, but I won't worry about catching the race live anymore.
yeah okay
Exactly 💯
Highlights on RUclips
No thanks on that crazy sub $
I agree good race and outcome. Way to go Herm. God bless
Tuff week at eldora for larson so it was nice to see him win today.
Yeah NASCAR felt so bad they gave it to him.
I was very worried during the last caution lap that the six car was going to run right out of gas right as the green flag was put out. Kudos to him for being out there for so many laps that if not for that caution he might have made it right to the very edge of the finish line

Those moves he was pulling were on point. That is driving the car to its limits masterfully, say what you want about the finish but he worked to get there
I agree. He had same tires and fuel as Chase. I'm a #9 fan and admit Larson was faster.
Nope, he was given the win. Ran a good race, but Nascar finished the race, not Larson.
Mo@@dannycrews2665
Good Grief People, Larson just outraced the other drivers..... End of story
FOX kept the NHRA on their main channel even though it ran more than an hour over schedule because of weather. Not throwing the yellow was BS.
Gotta prop up the golden boy marketing cash cow. They had that nice picture of him on the podium 800 times and made sure to get the zoomed in shots several times of it. Do you think any of that would have happened if Zane Smith won?
I tape the races with an hour and a half extra time. The last two races have left me missing the finish of the race. Pisses me off
I don't want to sound like I am complaining, but GOD I miss racing. Today is a damn wreckfest
At least they weren’t going fast. Just half throttle. Trying to save gas because the single lug nut doesn’t allow them to fuel up.
I am starting to think NBC doesn’t have Nascar’s best interest at heart.
100%
NASCAR doesn't have its best interest at heart. They literally ended yet another race because a Hendricks car was out front and they wonder why no one watches or cares anymore.
@@chadjustice8560 Not sure if it was because of a Hendrick driver but I will agree I have seen cautions thrown sooner and for less
Jeff Burton brought up that Larson may have jumped the restart, because Blaney became the leader when Brad pitted for fuel, not Larson. If this is true, apparently NASCAR had no interest in reviewing the restart.
It's a Hendrick's car, so NO Penalty
@@secondamendmentconservativ3556That’s why he won
Ur not telling the whole truth of what Burton said
I watched the whole race then couldn’t watch the finish. Had to wait until I could find it on RUclips or X.
I think when NASCAR does the TV contract, they need a "no switch clause".
Yep I wish all the motor sports and car shows with learning auto shows get an real Channel 24 / 7
I went over to USA and they had regular programing on. I have Spectrum cable. Missed the finish. Dang right I'm PO'd.
Had to listen to the end on my Sirius Xm sucked but at least I got to hear the finish
Happy Wife Happy Life. Go get em Kenny this week on the Dirt Tracks.
Enough cars wrecked and some had to stop for fuel and that helped a few drivers finish higher than they normally do like NBC,s poster child.
Thanks Kenny now you see what I mean. I taped it on RUclips tv and missed the last 2 laps . I couldn’t be home .
a lift out back of the shop to power wash, you are da man !!!
I was out in my food plots, getting the sd cards, hung 2 stands. Short story, i was freaking busy, so i recorded it and added 3 hours for safety. Imagine my surprise, especially as a larson fan. Oh i was fvvking pissed off.
the stand were 3/4 empty, I dont blame the networks for moving it. Nascar has a big issue.
Don't blame it on how big the speedways are because they used to sell out even when the big speedways like Charlotte had stands all the way around, turn one and turn two
You’re right Kenny the networks still treating NASCAR is a redheaded stepchild
4minute mark is our HERM blooper reel believe he was super excited and had Busch on his mind 😂
Absolutely love watching Kyle Larson !! HELL YEA YOU GO KYLE !!
I agree so much with your takes today💯
Kenny, I'm a 47 year old, coal mining, Hillbilly, in Eastern Kentucky. I used to go Bristol at least once a year. Ive been to Daytona in 02. Martinsville several times, Richmond twice, & Darlington once in 18. Met Donnie Allison at the raceway grill.

I couldn't believe how many empty seats there was. When i went back in 95 or 96 that place was packed well over 300,000 people just like the Indy 500.
❤ Ya Herman
YesSir, agreed!
Where do you go with the dirt/mud runoff when you’re finished pressure washing surely that has to add up after many races, where is it go?
You would love the fuel injection motor in my winged sprint! I know not allowed but i bet id love your motor in my car like yours! With that said though i haven't lost a race in it with the motor I've got!
Where I live, NBC switched over to an infomercial for a local audio company.😂
Love your car
I’m pissed off too …. I was planning on watching Law and Order
I live in California, so NBC was just playing infomercial after they moved the race.
One solution is that NASCAR needs to have a subscription section to stream any TV broadcast through their NASCAR App
It was BS I was busy and had to record the race on my NVR. Well needless to say I never got to see the end of the race.
I'ma clean this up for ya ..... NBC Hoovers barnyard posterior
I would have enjoyed the end of the race, what a bummer!

Changing network doesn’t work with you recording the race either and the recording doesn’t jump over to the new change
❤ Larson
If nascar has no consistency why should NBC? No yellow when a car is stopped on track?
Larson is a great driver
Agreed if you sigh up to cover a race, cover it!
Are any of your races live-streamed? If so, can you give us a heads up?
Remember years ago when NASCAR wasn’t so popular and TNN had it then it became popular they took it away from them at least they stayed with it
That call at the end by Nascar not to throw a caution is BS!
I’m went to both the 500 and the 400. It was way easier heading home from the 400 than the 500.
Kenny how did you get Kyle Bush in there when he cashed did you lose it lol
I think waltrip has an extra gallon of fuel with that coil of fuel line says days of thunder
what number is usa network when have 800 channels

@@secondamendmentconservativ3556 I agree… it sucks but the networks have the final say. About time for a NASCAR Channel.
good rece but N B C changing the channel that was bad !
Hendrick gets their 11th Brickyard in 31 years
u said Kiyle bush lol im watching u kenny
Our sport RACING isn’t Woke ! You have to start with the Kevin Lees trying to sale sale to us the fan that our sport is less then!

Considering your former 9 time xfinity winner I wish you would atleast acknowledge the best race of weekend!?
Yeah I'm sure DW had several feet of extra fuel line than the other's! LOL
Changing the channel didn't bother me but the damn channel going black while Larson was running down the leader's that bothered me
In the old days #6 wins under caution.
3:59 we know what you ment Herm, Kyle Larson was the fastest car.
110% Start on same channel finish on the same damn channel. Poor KB.😢 Indy is a great show case for Cup Cars. Not so much for the Busch cars.
Herman NASCAR Is Turning Into WWE Not A Race But A Show 😅😅
They left nbc for breaking news after watching whole race no news info show came on
Go to your local dirt track. They need your business more than the Hendrick show.
Tell Hailie Deegan I love her to the moon and back 😘😘😘😘😘
Its called desperation.
70000 didn't show up. Ok
Missed the finish. I'm done trying to watch NASCAR...
Chase was madder en a hornet.....
At 4 minutes you said that Kyle Bush was the fastest and was going to win it anyways... you meant Karson..lol. That damn switching channels is BS...glad I have a subscription that has both channels...but not everyone does

Nascar needs some of my blow up dolls for the empty stands😂
Maybe they had to get to the Heidi movie. Lol
Ask your buddy Schrader how he feels about DW's "gas mileage" Daytona 500 win?!?! 🤦♂️🤣
on top of the changing channels problem, some of the nbc commentators need expelled
Happy for Larson but I want to see it back on the road course! That race was a snooze fest!!!
