that turn around at 1:07 is a sweet kiss from a summer breeze & the smell of what you got cooking on the grill hitting you at the same time in the glow of the moon & the fireflies in the trees, & a reminder of how these women spin everything into gold. thanks for sharing this beautiful song!
How can musicians so young pull a song like this out of the sky ? Heard a long Podcast by Bob Lefsetz yesterday with Larkin Poe. They answered some difficult questions very openly. Thanks Julie 🎶
Frank, thank you for this advice. I listened to this podcast too. It was very informative and revealed much of the hardships that musicians are going thru. Being a touring musician is quite a sacrifice and fans should very thankful about that, especially when musicians are crossing oceans and leaving their comfort zone each year just to please them.
@@georgrittel4243 Well said. I'm happy they're back on the road now. I'm amazed they can work through such a demanding schedule. I feel their followers would prefer a cancellation rather than risk their health. I see a lot of empathy and respect in fan comments.
Gives me goosebumps. These little recordings they do with just the two of them are way better than most of what is on the airwaves.
I just love when she plays mandolin! She's so great at it!!!
You just have to sit and admire their talent. Beautiful ❤

SWEET!!! So nice to hear the mandolin again. Mixes so nicely w the lap steel. Beautiful blood harmony too!
Whatever they do, is timeless, they really strike gold...Thank you Julie!😍😍🎸🎸
Haven't heard this one since music from the shed days...awesome
I haven't playied the mando for such a long time... This made me desire to get back to my 8-string friend. You're too much, sisters!
Love them😊
Thank you for trying to save this old Larkin Poe song from sinking into oblivion. The girls wrote some nice ones a decade ago.
Essas meninas são muito lindas e muito talentosas, que Deus continue abençoando as suas vidas. Abraços
Don't see Rebecca playing the mandolin much anymore. Her mandolin solo is really good in this song. 👍👍👍
Yeah. She kicks it. Megan wrote this song.

So surprising, it has the full dimension of a 60's tune. Megan is an old soul deep in her heart.
I agree.
I hope you heard their two songs on the Sweetwater soundtrack. ❤️❤️
Loved the fìrst one. 2nd one was not that great.

I heard that, too. This song is from about 2012 I think.

Lovely blue gras blues
Excellent! Play this one next time you come to Minneapolis!
They never play this one anymore. Hope you have a good show, though.
Look, finally look
at the longed-for Mandolin.
A fun one. I will play it on and on
For sure. Me, too. Megan wrote the lyrics on Kinsiders once.
@@JulieMeyers i have Thick As Thieves, but forgot about this one
They did some good performances of this back in that time.
Wow 🌹🌹
