- These 3 varieties were planted closely together without putting any thought in it. I didn't intent to have all 3 similar color roses to be all together like this. Rookie mistake.

How many actual rose plants do you have here and approximately how big is the bed? I'm getting ready to plant Roald Dahl, Golden Celebration, and Lady of Shalott and I have no idea how far to space them! Thanks!
it's 3 bushes each section, i usually plant them 3 ft apart but for bigger plant i go for 4 feet apart, as far as the size of the bed i do now know since i never really measure them

yes, they've been doing it but i don't care for now until i prune them again in Oct

Thinking of getting this rose. Do you think the petals last a decent amount of time? Some people have said they shatter quickly
they do shatter quickly, like 1 -2 days

@@danis3209 still worth buying, though both golden celebration and roald dahl grow octopus canes in my climate
@@rosesintallahasseefl what do you do with these octopus canes? My golden celebration and Olivia have massive ones. Do you cut them back?
@@danis3209 yeah that's the only think i can do but with GC you can wrap those around an obelisk or grow it as a short climber get more bloom, not sure about olivia
