I will do what I can and can't to have a garden like that here in California! I have never seeing a most beautiful rose garden and the birds singing! It is amazing! This garden is heaven! Thank you!
actually i wish i have CA weather to grow roses as black spot would not be a problem and the roses seem to like the CA dry weater better from what i've seen
You don’t have to go to France to get this plein air but it is from your backyard! Amazing project/creation you have done. Enjoy and thank you for sharing. Hope to see more each season.
Super love it. Thank you for sharing your awesome garden and magnificent roses. I can't imagine smell of each blooms... must be heaven in that garden even the birds are singing. Your an inspiration. Thank you so much
These are more beautiful than the potted roses in DA’s own garden in Shropshire!! How big are your pots and how many roses have you got in each? For the 4th year ones do you repot them? Lastly.. what’s your fertiliser regime? I’ve got so much to learn from you!
Your garden looks amazing. I just started planting roses in pots last summer as our house gardens are drought-tolerant (Los Angeles) As well, I have a few more DA bare root roses coming this January. Thanks for your great videos - it's helped me to choose roses, etc. Keep up the great work!
Wow beautiful. You are about two months ahead of us in Zone 6. I love how you label everything. Desdemona looks amazing. I plated a bare root this spring and looking forward to seeing and smelling the blooms.
Same! Planted bare root Desdemona last week of Feb and I can’t wait to see the first bloom. Today I was so happy to find Lady of Shallot and Emily Bronte from our local nursery. Happy Mama here 🥰
Wow your garden it’s spectacular, I always heard that roses don’t do good in pots but it’s not true. Yours are gorgeous, congratulations. Thanks for sharing
Wow! The DA roses are amazing! More beautiful every year!!! Your plants are growing huge! Looking forward to mine growing up! Boscobel is my all time favorite! She's gorgeous!!!!! Does Molineux have a nice fragrance? She looks good.
I have a few questions. First what type of pots and how large? Do you change out partial soil ever year or add more? What I really am interested in is Roses in pots, what specific care do the need? I planted many in pots last year but not sure what to do now. I am in 8b but we had a freak snow storm this week.
these are called air-pots, they are 20 x 20 in. 25g, i don't really do anything to the soil for at least 4 years, i don't use potting mix anymore is i find them problematic, like nutrients deficiency, this year i'm using garden soil + local soil, with manure compost mixed in, i guess the only thing about pot is that u have to water them more
@@pattyiwamoto7163 any organic fertilizers that i get my hands on, i'm not fixed in a certain brand, but i do like the ones with low nitrogen number as i don't need anymore monster growth here
Добрый день, я тоже выращиваю розы в контейнере. На сколько литров ваши горшки для роз ( контейнеры)? И как они проводят зиму? Моя первая роза - Boskobel, но у вас она выглядит намного лучше.
Could you share what type of potting mix and fertilizer you use and how often. I'm so impressed. Just on my second year of growing David Austins. Made a huge mistake and just used soil and horse manure this past year. Repotted all of them with potting mix.
There is no specific type of potting mix that I use, I normally just with with any Potting Mix that I see, I sometime go for garden mix as well. I also use regular soil dug from around the house and mix with a little black kow compost. Same with fertilizer, no specifics, use what I have or what I see, right now I'm using the Knockout Rose Fertilizer. As for frequency, there is no fixed schedule for me, I use it as I see fit, depending on how much each time, but I do like to break it into smaller dosage but increases its frequency
I live in Manchester UK and my earliest roses start to flower at the end of May, though mainly in June. Seeing roses flowering in spring is a bit weird (in a good way) Though I understand that it's because of the much warmer climate in Florida. Do they flower all year?
Your roses are so beautiful gorgeous, how big are your containers and how you take care of them? Your containers are black because they maintain the heat better ? Thank you!
thank you, the pots are 20 x 20 in, as for how to take care of them that's another whole lot of things to list, but there are so many resources online already so i don't do those type of videos sorry the blacks pot are retaining heat is a bad thing but since it has many holes so it doesn't matter
Greetings from Sweden. What a beautiful garden you have. Do you have only one plant, or more per pot? Interesting and beautiful pots. Regards Tuula & Tord
Mama mia! The most gorgeous rose garden!!! DA headquarter in England should give you an award :)
lol
I wad thinking the same...your garden is a show case.

Gorgeous! How often do you water and fertilize your potted DA roses? Have far do you prune back after 1st and 2nd year. Thanks.
in the summer, daily watering is a must here, fertilizing is really depending on the type i use, i use all over the place
Rosa maravilhosas 😍😍😍😍😍😍
How much is your pot’s volume? Your rores are gorgeous. I’m in zone 8b too (Dallas) but my roses didn’t bloom like these.
