Congratulationes you are excelent musician and your improvisations is beatiful. And the Carr amplifier is amazing. Sorry for my inglish. Grettings and good healt. I am guitar man.
Steve Carr doesnt make a bad sounding amp 😂 I had a Mercury V 16 watter that was amazing. Went from Fender cleans to Marshall rock tones and at any volume!
Ohh boy. Sweet sound. You inspired me to go and buy a Jensen C12Q (Custom Deluxe). Actually it surprised me. Such a light and cheap speaker, and it sounds great in my modded Princeton - to my ears :-)
Cool news about the Jensen. It is deceptively great sounding when you see how cheap and light it is. I am assuming that comment is unrelated to this Super Bee demo since the speaker in this amp is a Carr Valiant?
This amp sounds fantastic but am curious at only 10 watts is this meant for studio or very small venues only? Is there enough clean headroom to perform larger shows? Thanks for a great demo!
I play solo and duo shows with no drums. So I really can’t speak to its usable Clean headroom first hand. For me it’s plenty for a great sound for stage volume and then I can mic it.
@@gair1944 Thanks for the reply! I’m looking at three CARR lower watt amps and still deciding. All three are great and a bit different: Super Bee, Mercury V, and Skylark. Decisions…Decisions
Hey Gary! Appreciate this video. You have a ton of experience with high quality amps. Was wondering if you have played a Swart and what your recommendation is for something to pair with my Twin Reverb that’s easier to carry lol
Hi Eric, in owned Swart AST for a couple of years. Very cool amp but I found it sort of boxy, midrange-ish and a little more directional than I prefer. They work great in a band context but not my flavor. I recommend Louis Electric Columbia S a very easy carry that is in the blackface camp but a lot lighter than a Twin. I am also loving the Tone King imperial MK II.
Hey Gary!! Man i am digging your channel!! I recently got a Tone King Gremlin, and i'm enjoying it so far. The main reason i chose the Tone King was the Iron man attenuator. Then i discovered the Super Bee! I was wondering, with the SB's built in attenuator, or whatever it is, is the Super Bee able to get good breakup and bedroom levels? I've got my eye on a sweet used Super Bee...or, should i look elsewhere....( or just enjoy the Gremlin:) Thanks Gary!! P.S. Do you have a lesson video for your sweet chord progressions? :)
Hi Marc. I’m so glad my videos are helpful. The Super Bee can be stunning at bedroom Levels with the variable attenuator knob from 2W’s down to zero. I am loving the Suoer bee. If you found a good price I would say go for it!! Before it gets away. Email me at gairman1@gmail.com
As much as I love the Super Bee, the 10W power can be limiting for clean headroom and also affects how it takes OD pedals if you want to boost for solo's. If I could only have one, the Tone King Imperial offers more clean headroom and it has the Ironman II attenuator, so you can crank it at low volume for early overdrive straight from the amp. If only one; TK Imperial MKII. I will also add that I love how the Tone King Imperial takes overdrive pedals. They are tighter and punchier through the Imperial (20W amp) versus the 10W Super Bee. Now, many can use the Super Bee as a platform to ride your guitar volume. That's cool too if that's how you play. I don't always do that however.
Defiantly a dads vanilla guitar collection. Including a red Collings 335. Jazzmaster is his sons and he gave up. He was tired of dad teaching him blues licks.

Thank you very much. I love the Carr amplifier.
Very helpful to see what you can accomplish between your attack, guitar pick ups, and amp
Thanks!
Great video on the Super Bee. I love your Tele too!
Hey thanks Jim!! Thanks for hooking me up with the Carr Super Bee. I found all the magic I need. Love this amp
Collins sounds so solid. Nice!
Thank you. I love my Collings guitars!
Great playing and sweet amp!
Thanks! I am really loving this amp.
Another great video! Thank you
Thanks David. I wasn't happy with the other video so I made this one

Nice Amp, nice playing to show the potential of him and I am one of the guys that have one.
Well done Gary🎯

@@slowhandblues187 I tried the Skylark and it wasn’t as good for me as the super bee and or course the Rambler
