They are killing this sport with so many press out calls for tiny wobbles. The commentary just ends up being a discussion on press outs most of the time.
I used to want the pressout rule scrapped but now I think we should keep it. Other strength athletes admire weightlifting because it's very technical and challenging. If we allowed pressouts, I'd be worried that it would be ugly like crossfit lifts or 1 inch bench presses. Besides, there would still be ambiguity about how much pressout is allowed.
These press-out calls are awful. It's even worse than the Olympics. The final snatch lifts from Yuan and Rizki were good lifts and the refs just robbed them.
bro, mad props for the weight shifters. not only to get the right weights on the bar always but they are god damn sprinting back and forth the whole time
Finally the Men's -73kg Class where such the BloodBath Session after Gold and Bronze Medalist where set High on B Session .Riski Juniansyah🇮🇩Junior World Record Snatch 158kg was Robbed ,He just to need 195kg exact for beat his Clean&Jerk Junior World Record for Surpass His Teammates Total Rahmat Erwin Abdullah🇮🇩who beat ShiZhiYong Clean&Jerk World Record to 200kg
While I don't think this is even close to being the worst session when it comes to judging, some of these red lights boggle the mind - for instance, the first Jerk by Andreev.
A lot of people in the weightlifting community are stating that the lockout rule and how it is judged is becoming too strict. The rule is in place to help the judges be as fair as possible. The clean & Jerk was removed from the olympics at a time due to difficulty in judging, as competitors could get away with terrible form and styles. If the lock out rule IS becoming too strict, what is the alternative?
>competitors could get away with terrible form and styles. What does that even mean? There's no advantage to pressing out a weight, just bin the rule entirely.
Yeah, I'm all for strict judging but really these championships have been way off on the no lift calls. It's like the judges cant make the difference between a press-out and just an arm wobble. Really frustrating to watch.
Из группы в 11человек ( это 33 попытки), засчитано лишь десять попыток! 4 " баранки"! Что это?! Судьям, конечно, виднее, но были очень хорошие попытки, которые почему - то не засчитали!
PLEASE get rid of the press out rule. I'm not an oly lifter, but I love following any and all strength sports, and these archaic rules are really destroying it for guys like me.
It's a shame the TV director has no idea of what he's doing. He could not bother to show replays of controversial judges decisions, so you have to sit down listening to the commentators talk about how "in this angle you see this or that" but you have no idea what they're talking about
The A, B, C and so on are just the groupings depending on your entry total. It's usually 12 people per group (correct me if I'm wrong) so if your entry total isn't top 12 then you'll be in the B or C or even D session if there are a lot of athletes in your weight class.
@@o-neil ok well when you are up 15 kgs on the field, he probably isn't pushing it lol this man did 205 in training multiple times lol he is on a next level

The Indonesian guy deserved that final snatch lift. That was a wobble not a press out
Such a shame! The jury literally ruined this weight class competition. I wonder if any of the jury members have ever competed themselves?

Any chance you will upload the B session as well for this weight category, to see the all the lifts & the battle of the gold & bronze medallists?

It’s crazy how the Korean lifter kept trying lifts despite his back pain.

How bout that jump onto the stage by one of the weight changers at 38:49

they 100% do parkour. That jump has a few different names but is called a cat pass
They've been doing that during the whole competition. I kept being impressed by it and Seb & Max barely mentioned it.

So the guy who got gold in the total and the C+J in '21 Worlds is relegated to B group in the '22 Worlds (and wins again!!!)? What craziness is this?

This category/competition was pretty depressing.

Judges should also be tested for banned substances. What were these bollocks smoking when they called out those press outs ??
