i agree bro 10 fold i agree. at least make it a supply based system like the deployable squad radios. i like it now u can only get like 5 respawns on the squad ones. they should make it sayyy 20 on the command truck if you get me

Being able to respawn close to an objective degrades the quality of the gameplay. It makes people not value their digital life and therefore act more like a regular COD player. It also makes people defending the front-line objectives and doing transport ineffective.
However, taking objectives is already really hard and I fear removing people's ability to spawn near to objectives would make it that much more difficult resulting in longer games. In addition, the lack of respawning would also mean that squads would become that much more difficult to keep together. Which is something that I am especially cautious of because I enjoy playing with friends and keeping us together is already a tough thing to do.

I think these are valid concerns. I would also consider the motivation for players to develop better tactics to attack, like moving heavy weapons into position (armed vehicles, helicopters) to provide cover fire. Players will not develop better tactics if they can just spawn in faster.
Also I feel squads are easy to rejoin by just respawning, getting a car and driving back, and driving in reforger is actually a lot of fun, at least for me.
Basically I feel easy respawns are brute force solution that prevents the search for other solutions because of how convenient it is.

    Good video.
Currently, there actually is a build up element with the Command Truck. The Command Truck requires 1500 resources, and has to be successfully driven to its deployment location to be used. This task can be extremely difficult when you have enemy teams pushing your base locations very hard. The Command Truck offers players the ability to push away from the defensive and attack the enemy in an unlikely location. Its a good way to get an offensive going and clutch a big location especially when on the losing end. This way losing teams have potential to come back. Without the CT - come backs will be much more rare and many players will likely opt to leaving a match that they are on the losing side of - making the game not very fun.
Anyway... I think your points are valid. Easy respawns do create a drain on the overall experience. ----- So, here is how we can fix this.
-- Keep the CT with respawn capability.. Although, instead of having unlimited respawns... We can require spawns at CT to take away resources from the CT location. Teams will have to now create a supply chain from the CT to depots and bases to consistently bring supplies to the CT location in order to keep respawns functional. This supply chain now gives support players a wider mission, and it still allows teams to take advantage of pushing off the defensive and into an offensive in a location unexpected.
The constant supply chain requirement to upkeep CTs also adds vulnerability of discovery, and also the loss of function if supplies are intercepted in route. Also, the drain on resources provides a cost in game while using the CT. Making the use of the CT a more critical task than it is now that requires more strategy and safe keeping.
I like the CT, and the radios.. *Although, each should require resources to use.* I think both of these are great additions to the game because this means the enemy could literally be anywhere.. They aren't only on the roadways, and around the major bases. They can be setting up in any random forest, field, or house seeking to get an edge in the area. This makes the huge map worth exploring and it makes providing recon support more vital and useful.
Helicopters and transport trucks are a great way to get teams into an area quickly to setup for an attack. Although, those shouldn't be the only way to do so, especially when you might be going up against a team that has superior skill and weaponry. Being able to establish a hidden spawn point is really cool.. But it should require resources as I stated. - This fix will likely balance any issues we are seeing with fast respawns.

Also, the game already takes a long time to play. If you start the game fresh... It will be awhile before you will actually see major combat against the opposing players. The beginning of the match is the huge build up phase. The later end of the match is when players have already built up and are going head to head. Having the ability to push off main locations and spawn in more quickly helps players to feel more rewarded for their hours of built up time. Players enjoy the end stage of faster / larger scale of combat. Makes the built up more rewarding, and makes playing the match worth while.
If the fast pace combat was more rarely offered many people would rather spend their limited amount of time after work or on the weekend - playing Hell Let Loose, COD, or Battlefield.
Also, the game is extremely frustrating as it is. Alot of bugs, and setbacks. Its nice to have something in the game that is extremely beneficial and more forgiving. If the CT wasn't free to respawn on... Losing teams would be super frustrated because they might be stuck on poorly funded bases, and the CT might be their only hope of defending / attacking bases... If anything else.... Atleast they can spawn in quickly and get some kills before they lose the game they just spent 3 and a half hours on... Without the CT option many matches will begin to seem hopeless for a lot of players.. Why spend all of this time building up if I am just going to get chocked out of resources and not be able to spawn in and not get to kill players like I want? Everyone wants the chance to spawn in and kill players at the end of the day. If their team is losing and low on funds they wont be able to spawn in and get the kills they desperately desire. So might as well quit at that point. Yet, the CT provides a saving grace in that situation if the team can set it up. Allows losing players a little more motivation in those bad circumstances.
Just another perspective on the issue.

Last bit. If we are going to require the CT to use resources for spawns or if we are going to take away spawns altogether... Well, the official servers will need to be bumped up from 48 players to 64 / 128 players. The rise in players across the map will allow the players to be satisfied with more consistent engagements and give more freedom to have squads to pursue others objectives. Players want to see combat. So, a rise in player count will help to make that desire more common.

Yes bro. I think Bohemia is trying to make this game easy for new guys but that is not the way to go. That not what we want. Rn the game is too repetitive and predictable

It would be interesting to see you debate this with Ironbeard who seemed to be a big fan of Mobile spawns.

I do enjoy the thought of building outposts i can spawn on with a construction truck and a command truck... i haven't done it yet, but i still like the thought of it. I just need the tactical opportunity.

    Controversial 😊
I understand what you mean, and you make some good points, but the issue is there are too few players, the Everon map is too big the distances are too far, supplies are too few and players aren’t cooperative enough to go without spawns. I do think having only a default load out is a decent penalty. Most Soviets can’t go without their backpack with 8 RPGs in it! 😂

I think it depends on several things. If players do not have command trucks it would force them to use support weapons more to attack. Like a machinegun car firing from a distance, or a helicopter. Also consider defending players are often lazy and very impatient, they dont camp the area around a base, they just spawn in it when the action already starts. That is why I observed most battles being won by attackers even without command trucks. I also think that players would not even try to formulate complex strategies for attacks the if command trucks are available.

I agree with your argument. However there needs to be some way to encourage people to stick in squads more when moving around the map, such as seen in Dslyexci's videos. When moving in a squad, it is possible to stay alive for much longer than when moving alone, due to the support that the squad provides.

I play ARMA3's MACV SOG dlc online on the 'vietnam war stories' server. there are no designated squads, but people still stick together for the most part,
because you need transport and alone you won't survive/people build bases where everyone meets up to fight.
you can join or create a squad, if you wish to, but it's not neccessary at all.
you will rarely find someone moving on their own.

I feel that organically encouraging players to work together is better than forcing it. Squad is absolutely packed with rules and conventions and hard limits while Reforger basically has no limit on anything
