HOW TO - Fix belt & playback issues on Sony`s 400 CD Mega Storage Changers - CDP-CX455 CDP-CX450

On the workbench today is a Sony CDP-CX455 400 CD changer that wont turn or load discs.
This also applies to the other 400 cd models from sony and clones, as they all have the same basic design as to where the belts are located so you should be able to get your own machine up and running again if its just a general "table error" fault.

Great equipment. I have a Technics from the 90's.
Sorry it's not related to this video. I just wanted to ask about your Swarey ultrasonic cleaner.
Are you satisfied with it or would you buy another brand? I'm asking because I want to buy the same one or Vevor brand and I don't know which one to choose.
I think Swarey would be a better choice but I'm not entirely convinced. 🤝🤝

I`ve had it a couple of years or so now, no issues with it. Actually did a video on it when I got it if you look at my other videos you should see it.

I get one of 200 cds, but the display is a little faded. There is someting to fix this faded display?

No they can fade with age if they have been left on for long periods.
