In my honest opinion “The Vision” has been shifted to PoE 2 and the unhealthy obsession with Diablo 2 is going to be pushed into that game, and they are going to leave PoE 1 to the juice heads….. Which is amazing

16:00 Mark said the higher tiers will get "proportionally more common". I think this might mean that if you cut out the bottom 50% of tiers, the weightings of the higher tiers will get increased by 50%. Based on how he said it I think its more than just "they get more common because the total weighting pool is reduced"
Minion helmets are an example of a craft that may be much easier to do this league. +2 minion gems is one of only two minion mods on helmets so if you can get that juiced up you might have a much easier time rolling a decent one.

In general I actually think this is a buff to alch and go mapping strategies. For example bestiary and essence with some scarab and altar juice is very point efficiency and you're getting essence and beasts every map, where as before you kind of just spammed white maps for both you're able to just blast higher tiers with altars and sell guardians/17s.
So idk, I'm on the fence that it's a buff to alch and go and then juicing is more easily accessible for ssf where as trade the scarabs will fetch a pretty penny in bulk.

I think the philosophy change is "we want people to be able to play what they want" and seeing how sanctum going core and affliction didn't wreck the economy.
Sanctum going core is pretty bad for the economy. People farm 100 div in the first 12 hours.

while it makes stuff for those build more expensive to get, basically everything gets more expensive, especially stuff that you can't get from the most popular strat.
people getting 100 div in the first day didn't make the economy much worse if any.
Yea even after the Quad tap from GGG I think Penance brand is still insane.
Im torn between DD Elementalist and Exsang miner. I don't like that I'm forced to interact with the league mechanic. I always do when the league is new but if it sucks I don't like being forced

You guys missed something. Now there are 6 rarities of Scarabs instead of 4.

So your acessments about rarity are a bit off because of that.
I'm going for shrine and Niko nodes so i'll be close to unwavering and if scarab drops are low I'll spec in to Unwavering, if scarabs are raining I won't spec it.
I kinda think I may go Mjolnir as my juicer build. There are so insane stuff u can do with it, but maybe I Wander first KB is comfy af.

I think the reason GGG have changed their stance on juicing is because PoE 2 is now a separate game
lake of kalandra was definitely the patch where ggg said poe1 and poe2 need to be the same game. affliction was the patch where ggg said theyre separate
They have left PoE 1 to the juicers we have won.

I feel like DD often gets through nerfs because its kinda annoying to play so its always played less than what a more fun to play build at the same power level would get played
Now people turned it into 1 button build it might get nerfed

I think you guys overestimate t17 drops by a lot. Ppl wont be running ubers all day thats for sure ... since you only have 2% chance for a 16 to turn into a 17 that is if you run 4 voidstones ... and wandering path got gutted ... map drop rate is gonna be a lot lower then before too because less mobs in the map ... and you cannot drop 17s beeing in a 17 ... so its a lot less then youd think ...
It's a 6.4% chance to drop t17s
