Perfect!!!! Detail, EVERY step of the way;excellent rta information visual before/after/ along with explaining it's MORE than just a " hey, add a 500 watt sub amp to my car" install 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for this video. I just finished my install. My truck had the stock JBL with subwoofer, so I just bought a connector to tie into the stock subwoofer speaker wire behind the seat, I used that signal to feed the Kicker, I did not run a remote wire, the amp turns on using the input signal. It works great and I didn’t have to mess with any stock wiring at all. Great little smart amp. I copied your abs plastic mount designs for the amp and the fuse holder. Thanks again!! Awesome. 🤙
I had to close my eyes to listen to some of the explanations. God im getting old. Great video and love the education. Keep it up D&F. One of my favorite corners on the internet.
So, was the amp inputs wired up to the OEM amp speaker level outputs? And, if so, I presume that the amp can handle that high level input OK? Or, is it better to use a LOC?
When adding a converter to factory stereo for a amplifier and subwoofer Do u have to turn down the bass on the factory stereo and turn the amp gain ???

Very informative. Thank you. Please any chance of the new 22 w/o JBL and using the new stock head? Thanks for all the great videos.
Thank you for the info, I’ve got the same truck and planning on doing something similar… what box was the sub in?

Does this Amp need a power wire to battery and a ground to bare metal?
Sorry for dumb question… will this boost speaker power too? Or is this just for sub power?
So what wires did he connect the rca lines to?
Did you make a graph for this?
Love your installation videos, please create more.

Very nice video 👌
So is the kicker connected to only one speaker level input, ie. Only the left or right speaker as a source?
Yes

You guys are awesome! Great work!
Any way you can go more into detail on how and when to use the 2 way vs 3 way option for the X over on the excelon DMX706S
Every time I try to tune tuning for the algorithm, the gain match LED and a red LED starts flashing. Cannot get it to go through with the process.
Do we do the same for the JBL system?
Enjoy your videos. Very informative.
