Fun fact: this episode was essentially the pilot episode for a proposed spinoff starring Rick Springfield’s character Michael that was never green-lit. When you look at the episode as a whole knowing that, it makes a little more sense why David was more pushed towards the background and Michael and his family were at the forefront of the episode.
Jamás nadie representará a Hulk como lo hizo Lou. Era perfecto para él. El minuto 5:40.... La manera en cómo corre, coloca su cuerpo ,alza sus brazos y rompe la pared. Bestial !!! No pueden igualar esto hoy en día. Lou es único.
the Hulks Growl sounds different either Ted Cassidy was sick when this was filmed or he had passed away....which I heared some time near the end of the series.
Rick Springfield's character made sence killing the guy who killed their father won't change things or bring their father back....their father is gone and it will not change a thing.
I still say there’s a way to modernize it today where you could actually show this on TV in the 21st century I mean nothing will be bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno but if you got the right actor and someone that was over 6 foot four and could actually dawn the make up and you could get somebody to do the grave voice it could be done again on television for sure
Difficult to say. I’m sure in todays world they would not want to chance the amount of money just for it to flop! As much as Bill did not want to do it originally, he was fantastic in the series. I doubt very many actors would even want to try this being stuck forever in a character role.
even if they got lucky and found two actors who could match Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno... the tone of the show would be changed hollywood would not stick with the formula that worked with the original show......they would end up ruining it. every time the try to bring back a classic show the ruin it by not sticking with what worked the first time.
Yeah you can get the complete series on Blu-ray for cheap online. I've got it on DVD, but won't upgrade. I like how the film is a little bit grainy in spots. Imagine, it looks better on DVD on an HDTV than it ever did being broadcast on an tube TV back during the original 1977-82 run.
He's supposed to have a mental strength that powers his karate chop, hence it's more powerful. You know like when guys break several boards with a karate chop, or walk over hot coals.
One of my least favorite episodes.. most anybody would think both sons would probably avenge their father's death.. since that scum had no remorse and continued to blow away anyone that crossed his path, they would've been right to end his killing spree with a bullet.. I couldn't believe that he'd want to save the perp who killed his father
This is a weird avenue to take for this backdoor pilot. It skews so far from the show it's attempting spin off from. At least Gary 7 was in the same general genre as Star Trek. This one just came off as completely random. I mean if you want to make a show about a ninja cop who won't use a gun as a matter of principle, okay. But why should such a concept spawn from the inherently science fiction world of the Incredible Hulk? What the hell does a ninja cop have to do with the Hulk, apart from being acquainted through a mutual dead friend? Yeah, yeah. 26 episodes a season. Might as well use one of them to try and boost another pet project you're trying to get off the ground. It's just such strange combo. It's like somebody tried to spin off a courtroom legal drama from an episode of Quantum Leap or something.

Maybe he is the iron fist in this universe
The Hulk was so brave to survive that fire!
Is it just me or does the music score in this scene gives you THE CHILLS?(2:23-2:58)
similar to Kolchak's
It's hilarious that the guy is on a megaphone, giving instructions for anybody within range to hear. 😂
I like how David has a bodyguard, It's alright David 😂
Even though there was no Special EFFECTS it was still a show that I love.
Special effects ruined the HULK.
Every time I see the Hulk run through a wall, I think about the Kool-Aid Man and feel thirsty for Kool-Aid itself; giggle!!🤭
OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!

Lou es único.
3:51. Why would they focus on the Hulk's feet, knowing he's got green stockings on?
they're in the scene.. xD
Right!! Lol
And you can see the Car is broken so it's easier for him to get out.
😂
Opps Shot.
Hulk with with white pants then after he escapes, black pants
Not to mention David hulled out in broad daylight. Not even five minutes later, it's dark when he runs down the alley
Hulk still wearing his green socks lol
Green shoes.
I THINK THAT IS REAL STUNT AMAZING STRENGTH OF INCREDIBLE HULK MAN LIFTING A CAR AMAZING INDEED
@SUNNY SMOKER RETURNS Yes A lot of power 💪💪
Classic
Great acting by Rick Springfield here.
You almost shot me dear brother, but all is forgiven. See you next week.
I used to have the complete third season on dvd and I remember this episode all too well
Broad daylight, he hulks out. Not even five minutes later, it's night time as he runs down the alley.
It’s a shot from another show that they reused to save money.
@@journeyseb I know. But they usually use the alley scene after hulkouts that actually happen at night.
They used stock film at the end
It was too cut costs.
Dat bit stomped a whole through the car 💪🏾💚😭
I heard gamma rays at the X-ray machine makes you green it's true
the Hulks Growl sounds different either Ted Cassidy was sick when this was filmed or he had passed away....which I heared some time near the end of the series.
The dude knows the incredible hulk that's crazy 🤣, he did help him out by telling him he has to get out of there, hulk did listen to him 😂.
Hulk hates fires and bad cops.
Rick Springfield's character made sence killing the guy who killed their father won't change things or bring their father back....their father is gone and it will not change a thing.
Rick Springfield good actor 👍❤️
Hulk was playing 2nd fiddle on this one
Don’t talk to strangers. Baby don’t you know

You're right. But the actor wouldn't be as good as Bill Bixby. Bill was excellent.
I doubt it'll work. No one, after we've known Lou to be the hulk, will do as good a job as he. Nobody can double Bill's actions and gestures.
Difficult to say. I’m sure in todays world they would not want to chance the amount of money just for it to flop! As much as Bill did not want to do it originally, he was fantastic in the series. I doubt very many actors would even want to try this being stuck forever in a character role.
Bad idea. Let it stay a classic and don't try to retcon or modernize it.
This is true history that shouldn't be forgotten.

Rick Springfield?
Was this show ever released on blu-ray?

If I had that breaking locks technique 😊😊
Is that Gerald McRaney as one of the cops?
That's right, he was also a guest star in other series like The Streets of San Francisco.
Was that guy supposed to be Iron Fist😂😂😂😂😂😂
Was this supposed to be master of Kung Fu or Iron Fist ?
Bravo Hulk avec tout vert muscles leve ta voiture et cassé quelle puissant ❤

1:45. Right. A simple karate 🥋 chop opens a padlock 🔒.

This was one of the most useless transformations. I mean Hulk didn’t do anything
It could be argued that he helped distract Lynch from shooting at Mike. But yes, overall he wasn’t that helpful this time around 😂
@@Disneyfreak_8 Yeah I suppose your right but this is still one of the worst transformations in my opinion
I agree Hulk really didn't do anything.
I hate this one
It's a pity that Arnold Schwarzenegger was never given the role of the Hulk. His level of English at the time would've been perfect.
Lou ferrigno is hulk
Lou had to choose train for the Olympia and Arnold or the hulk hulk opened more doors
