I'm 50 years old and I've been playing metal guitar for about 35 years. I watched metal rise from the punk and rock genres and take it's place at the top of the musical charts by the mid-90's.
Then, suddenly, it died.
Pantera and Godsmack and a few other bands rose near the end and were able to hold on for a while, but it was obvious the glorious kingdom of metal had closed it's gates.
Now many many decades later
, lay destroyed, beaten beaten down, only corpses of rebels, ashes of dreams
and blood stained streets...
It has been written
"Those who have the youth have the future"
To the ones playing here...I see metal is being left in excellent hands. A new, more powerful generation of metalheads will rise, bringing all that power with them, and this band will be at the forefront.

This is her voice at its best, playing the hard Rock and Roll covers, it's raw/gritty rock and roll, and she sings with her eyes. The oldest on the guitar is one of the best new players of new rock bands, I just love them.
I cried (im66) when I heard them do- Holy Diver & crazy train. And of the cover of Black Sabbath Paranoid. she is good at coving Ozzy.

I'm an old hippy from the 60's and 75 years old. I am glad to see that heavy metal is still alive in Liliac and that southern rock is still alive in Blackberry Smoke. I still listen to hard acid rock and am now following Liliac and Blackberry Smoke. Love the kids of Liliac. Unbelievable. Crazy about Crazy Train and Enter Sandman.

Thank you! I couldn't quite pinpoint who she reminded me of. Janis Joplin is spot on. Joplin had a grit to her voice that accentuated her singing much like this lead singer. To be so young and sound like that is nothing short of amazing.

Love this band. 😀if this doesn't make you jump around banging your head you must be dead. I'm 63 and can't get enough of their music. Their covers are spot on some even better than the original, and their original stuff is awesome. I hope they come to Arizona so I can meet them. As a old rocker I appreciate it when the younger generation revamps the classic metal music 🎶. Keep it up you are my #1 band. On a side note I recently pulled my back out and had to have a MRI. The technician said he could play music while I was in the machine. I asked to play Liliac so he looked you up on Spotify. It was very difficult keeping perfectly still while listening because you guys rock. Needless to say the staff at the emergency room loved your stuff. Then with my mind lost in he crazy train days I answered something my wife said but called her by my ex-wife's name.. So after bouncing a hot frying pan full of what was going to be my diner off the back of my head the future ex-wife stomped off mad. Um... But they were inspired by an awesomely bad ass rockband that was insanely popular 20 years ago. I love that these kids kick ass and I love even more that Metallica can influence a new generation to still kick ass. These kids will get their fame covering a great band and then go on to make magic; but don't discredit the original band, cause they will always be legends

I hate that - some- people in the comments are jealous and being jerks but I'm glad that there are way more positive feedback comments here. Personally, I think they look like a legit metal band, the growling the lead singer did was at the perfect moments and when she started singing, it took me a minute to realize it was really her singing. She sang it THAT well. Also, the drumming was perfect. The guitar riffs were perfect. 10/10 That's my opinion, as someone who loves Metallica.
After reading this I had to say I can't agree more. U put it best about being a true metallica fan I lived and breathed metallica Nd here I'm all but handing her the batton that ain't mine to give. Liliac the band is incredible.
