Harbinger Dottore is a man with an interesting mind and due to that he has a major role to the fatui especially on making enhanced soldiers, the fatui skrimishers which boosted the fatui's power all over Teyvat. Even the others among the eleven can't replace his role to the Fatui
Not only Enhanced Soldiers, but also Ruin Robots. The Factory that Childe and Traveler visits is Dottore's Old Factory, so he definitely is responsible for all of the Ruin Robots lying around Teyvat.
Oh boy, I can't wait Dottore makes his in-game appearance. Twitter will lose their collective minds about what he has done throughout his Harbinger career. This guy belongs in Resident Evil - not a bright, colorful Gacha game.

Just like a comment here, I'm predicting Dottore's delusion to be anemo. I've heard of a theory that if vision symbolise ambitions, then delusions are twisted versions. Childe has an electro delusion to represent his far too ambitious goal of becoming the strongest in Teyvat and taking over the world. Dottore gets anemo because he freely experiments without regard to the ethics, even denying the freedom of others. It's freedom gone wrong, much like how Childe's electro delusion is ambition gone wrong. Another bonus is that his satellite things emit a cyan/teal light from them, the same color used for anemo. I cannot wait to fight and pull for air Cioccolata
I don't want MHY to give this man a sad backstory or something. I want something like, when he was little, his curiosity was too much so he already started experimenting with life since he was little. Like he was born without empathy to life like that, but no one guides him on to the right path or something. Instead the people around him refuse to understand even a bit of what he wanted to say and banished him for his insane knowledge. And as he grows up, when his research in sumeru academia made him got kicked out too, finally, his insane thirst for knowledge on his research for enhancing humans consumed him. Thus making him more violent and reckless on his experiments without holding anything back anymore. Making him joining the fatui, since they promised him to provide anything for his experiments. There, i want his story to be something like that.
I love all of that. Honestly- I was thinking the same thing. If Mihoyo makes his backstory a sad one where your supposed to feel sad for him- I *will* riot.

I would like to believe that the element of ones delusion is connected to their actual delusion.

Oh my god, his healing is just Lifesteal. Kinda like Jean’s passive talent, his skill damages the opponent constantly while healing you with the amount of damage the opponent took, or maybe an infusion of sorts. Or, when you’re fully healed it’s a DoT of sorts for the enemy.

To be perfectly honest, of all the Harbingers, Dottore seems like one of the most likely to wind up dead at some point in the story. Not even necessarily at the Traveler’s hands, but with all he’s done I’d be shocked if his “research” doesn’t come back to bite him.
So in other words he is the one who created Katherine because there is a key hole behind her, she sometimes said error and reboot and lastly she can be everywhere at once. My mind is blowing 🤯
I kinda love irredeemable villians because not only that tells the audience that not everyone spends on their 2nd chance to redeemed themselves, but rather to take advantage of that chance; but also that their end of the story (its just a probability) will be satisfying once their misdeeds are coming back to haunt them and bite them back in the ass.
i just hope mihoyo will let this man be some crazy evil genius and not ruin it by giving him a sob story like it's ok mihoyo, not every character needs a sad backstory
Watching this video after the whole summers archon quest is out, knowing exactly what happened with Dottore and Scaramouche is very interesting. I’m also pretty sure we’ll see him again in Fontaine
i believe oceanid boss fight might be a test for dottore's since he doesn't fight upfront but more of a summoner esque person, using his delusion to power or make the battlefield more dangerous
I was thinking his fight might be similar to the mechanical array where there is a stage where you fight him directly, but also a summoner type situation where you fight his machines
I’d presume that Dottore will be the one to torment the traveler mentally with greatest effect. To that end, I theorize that Dottore’s boss fight would have four phases: Phase 1- Dottore forces us to fight and kill children that have been imbued with archon residue and have turned mad with its power Phase 2: Dottore forces us to battle enhanced ruin machines forged from the remains of Sumerian/Fontiane NPCs that we have grown attached to Phase 3: Dottore fights us himself with his giant anemo nails Phase 4: Dottore injects a serum into himself that transforms him into an archon residue infused ruin guard. His death and defeat will then be the most gruesome and most satisfying in the entire game
I’d like to see a Tuecer boss fight as phase one. But that’s just me. Edit: why not have Tuecer summon the robots for phase one, and fight traveler(and Childe??) for phase 2 head on. Tuecer doesn’t want to hurt them so dottore murders him, and fights us head on.
I'm imagining his theme right now; a chaotic yet organized clusterfuck of Sumeru and Fontaine instruments (both have a prominent scientific/technological side, plus both are the most likeliest place for his origins); an electronic orchestral symphony of a madman's line of thought, showing that there is as much madness as there is method in the Doctor Phase one could have him send out a child NPC, maybe one we grow very attached to, as a ruin cyborg infused with Archin residue
I think he will appear in the Sumeru arc with Scaramouche, and as a mad scientist seeking research and knowledge he will become obsessed with the traveler’s origin and power and try to capture them

Before Sumeru do you think Skaramouche will take out Ei to officially become one of the 7 He's basically an unofficial Archon at this point he's quite strong seeing he is Ei's Prototype puppet and not to mention the enhancements Dottore made to him and now he even has the Gnosis So I think he'll kill Ei next

With sumeru coming up this spring (from what I've heard) I'm super excited to see dottore in game. It's almost guaranteed that well see him, and if not we will see a different harbinger in his place. I just really like the fatui lore.
Since this is an old video, I would like to say that I think Pantalone will be in Fontaine. I don't really theorize but based on the storyline preview dialogue, and how Pantalone is represented in the fatui trailer or signora's funeral, I think we'll see him there. Either him or Arlecchino. I don't really know how to describe how I relate them to the nation, but I can sort of feel it? I'll look more into your newer videos and see how I can relate them. It's just kind of this ominous feeling.
Kudos to you using Portal 2 OST. Portal 2 is my childhood game that I loved watching! Besides that, the way you talk at the beginning and end of the video of how strong the Traveler is in lore is amazing! It sounds like what a Genshin character should sound like. With the benefit of hindsight, will I be lame if I cracked a "Dott-ore, sanjou" line? For context, Il Dottore's Japanese seiyuu is Toshihiko Seki, and one of his more famous voice roles is Momotaros from Kamen Rider Den-O (the red being). Momotaros' catchphrase is "ore, sanjou" (roughly translates to "I'm here" in Japanese, and the way which "tore" is read sounds a lot like "ore", hence the lame pun).

I’m hoping that either Dottore or Scaramouche will be the one to make Aether temporarily give in to his anger and activates a hidden rage mode that I’ve been talking about for a while and give them a taste of their medicine For Scaramouche: throwing him into a literal dumpster fire and then Aether takes off the unorthodox golden electro symbol as a trophy For Dottore: Allow Collei and the ghosts of those that have suffered because of him to join Aether and make him suffer till he desperately asks for death. After that Aether takes off the mask and slits Dottore’s throat with it leaving a deep cut on it and the ghosts then makes his soul suffer for eternity and Aether takes the mask as a trophy.

I don't really theorize but based on the storyline preview dialogue, and how Pantalone is represented in the fatui trailer or signora's funeral, I think we'll see him there. Either him or Arlecchino. I don't really know how to describe how I relate them to the nation, but I can sort of feel it? I'll look more into your newer videos and see how I can relate them. It's just kind of this ominous feeling.

For context, Il Dottore's Japanese seiyuu is Toshihiko Seki, and one of his more famous voice roles is Momotaros from Kamen Rider Den-O (the red being). Momotaros' catchphrase is "ore, sanjou" (roughly translates to "I'm here" in Japanese, and the way which "tore" is read sounds a lot like "ore", hence the lame pun).

I’m hoping that either Dottore or Scaramouche will be the one to make Aether temporarily give in to his anger and activates a hidden rage mode that I’ve been talking about for a while and give them a taste of their medicine
For Scaramouche: throwing him into a literal dumpster fire and then Aether takes off the unorthodox golden electro symbol as a trophy
For Dottore: Allow Collei and the ghosts of those that have suffered because of him to join Aether and make him suffer till he desperately asks for death. After that Aether takes off the mask and slits Dottore’s throat with it leaving a deep cut on it and the ghosts then makes his soul suffer for eternity and Aether takes the mask as a trophy.
