- There is some breaking news in regards to Edge and his WWE contract status. A new report has come out stating that WWE is not re-signing him.

For a long time, we complained WWE gives too much time to part timers. Letting him leave to have his dream retirement with Christian, to give more time to WWE Talents to develop (because the problem with HoF part timers they can't lose too much, we saw that with the Judgment Day even with the fact that he gave them light) and him going to AEW emulate the competition and the business. It's win win for everybody.

Totally, Edge did enough and ended his run on WWE exactly how he wanted. And it's even better because he can possibly go to AEW with a clear conscience that he, at least, tried with WWE one last time so yeah. I'll be really happy for him if he decided to definitely end his career side by side with Christian.

Bro..I kinda wanna see a E&C reunion, I’ve seen it floating around a lot that Edge and Christian, The Hardys and the Dudleys should go at one more time and then retire. All 6 going out at once. I’d like that but I don’t think 2/3 of those teams are ready to retire.

To anyone who might think he was misued, just remember: He beat Randy Orton twice, won the Royal Rumble, made Roman tap out twice and only lost the second match via interference, beat Seth Rollins twice, beat the Miz, beat Aj Styles, constantly beat the Judgement Day on Tag matches and made them look like doofuses, beat Damien Priest, beat Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley in a tag match, beat the Demon Finn Balor at WM ending the feud and finally, beat Sheamus on his last match.
Short of a title run, he was booked like a F*cking demigod. The only people he kinda, sorta put over were Randy Orton (once but won the overall feud), Roman Reigns (twice), Seth Rollins (Once but won the rematch) and maybe Judgement day once (at Extreme Rules, but afterwards, he destroyed them left and right), otherwise, Edge did not lose, ever. If people are gonna bitch and whine about how the current talent don't seem like credible wrestlers, just remember, Edge ran through them like wet tissue paper.
Edge also put over Austin Theory which was stupid because look at Austin Theory now. Loses to guys like Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio! 😂😂
They should re sign Edge and have him pull a surprise attack on Rollins eventually taking the World title for one last run in the company

The man was booked greatly , outside of a Title reign he won all of his feuds except for the Roman Reigns one
Edge looked like like he wasn't going to do something great with the Judgement day. But they used his brood background just to make the faction and then he list the opportunity to be part of one of the best stories on Raw. I take good stories over meaningless feuds anytime. Some weren't that bad, but is groups like bloodline with a great story that takes a person to bigger heights. Edge kind of list that when he was kicked out of Judgement day.

Yeah. If it's going to disrupt the already laid out plans for people like Gunther, Drew, Cody, L.A Knight, Shinsuke, or Seth Rollins, then I sadly say no. He's already had his run in the WWE, a multi time world champion and two time rumble winner. It's time to let him go unfortunately

If I remember correctly, it just seemed like Edge wanted one last top title run so he can retire whenever anyone beats him for it. I don't understand how that was such a hard thing to do but clearly, I'm playing 3D chess while the WWE is playing 4D.
Why not WWE give him a one year extension to send him off so all parties are left happy ? You don’t need to give him the title. But you could make a big freak regarding retiring him in WWE?
