I didn't expect Dolph Ziggler to be released. I pictured him forming a faction with pretty deadly. Shelton Benjamin was great too. He was great in the Hurt Business. Maybe Ziggler & Shelton Benjamin will be future hall of famers someday. WWE needs US & IC women's championships to be added to the womens mid card. Women like Emma & Aliyah could've maybe filled those roles.

I love Ziggler but I doubt AEW is gonna use him better. He'll probably team with his brother and maybe get a tag title reign with him, but other than that he'll probably just be used as another guy. I doubt he'll have the same accolades as he did in WWE through no fault of his own.
I actually don't see khan picking up most except ziggler and maybe ali but only for roh as that is his ceiling and also emma if enough of the women in aew bother him about it but she will be in taya spot soon enough aka few matches then jobbing on rampage and collision.Ziggler only one that will be pushed by khan.

If you own a business, would you rather get rid of the guy that does the job of 2-3 others, or keep the guy that's constantly messing up on the job. Also Vince is an out of touch old man, and as the head of company, you're gonna get the flack, especially after you've created a tremendous amount of Failed Decisions.

Dolph Ziggler getting released by WWE was shocking..he was one of the most underrated wrestler and loyal talent who stayed in WWE for straight 19 years😢😢
I’m still shocked about Ziggler. He was making over 7 figures with WWE, and they could literally put him anywhere and he’d do a hell of a job. He’s such an asset in making anyone he faces look like an absolute monster. WWE really dropped the ball by letting him go, but who knows, maybe Ziggler wanted it this way. I’ll definitely miss him.
I'm so heartbroken and devastated by the fact that all of these WWE Superstars were released. Literally everyone being released on the list especially Shelton Benjamin, Top Dolla, Dolph Ziggler, Rick Boogs, Aliyah, & Elias (As well as other Superstars outside of the list like Quincy Eliott, Commander Azaeez, Mace, Mansoor, & Dana Brooke) hit me emotionally hard and I feel so sorry for them. I wish those guys the best of luck in their future careers and hope everything will be okay for them again. Thank you for the amazing years in WWE, you guys will be greatly missed in WWE and also on UUDD too.

Dana Brooke was never used to her full potential. It's sad that WWE always put Dana on the back burner instead of giving her a chance to shine. Her and Jade Cargill could have had great potential as a feud especially as they are so similar in stature and build.

I seriously hate that Dana got cut. But for years idiots kept saying she should get released. Hopefully she comes back. She is pretty, decent in the ring and did a great job when she used to be 24/7 champion. Hopefully she’s doing alright. Screw the haters.

Mustafa Ali was the biggest shocker from the entire list. It'll be interesting to see what he does next. What a let down with Boogs, perhaps the injuries didn't really help.

Cannot believe how bad they fumbled Elias. He was pure gold and guaranteed money. Was a natural on the mic, honestly one of the best in all of WWE… and knew exactly how to control crowds. At one point he had LA Knight size popularity growing.

In 2001, I was part of a corporate merger in which employees were told that there would be no significant changes for at least a year. Three weeks later, myself and hundreds of others were out of a job. As soon as WWE said there would be no talent releases following the completion of the merger, I knew that was bullshit. The point is, if your employer ever tells you that there will be no changes to the status quo, update your resume.

I'm so sad that I won't ever get to see Moss and Boogs get a push now since I loved their looks. But I'm absolutely shocked they let Shelton and Ziggler go since they've done just about everything asked and were amazing.

A feud between LA Knight and Elias, I think would've been really great, especially if for a title. Such a missed opportunity.
Now for Dolph, that was a huge shock, like they couldn't of just let the veteran go out on his own terms? Sure, he might've been more keen on pursuing a different career, but could've at least tossed him a HOF ballot or something. Dude's a multi-world title holder, and has been in the business for decades now (Spirit Squad anyone?)!

Yeah that's not exactly a guarantee. There's been plenty of wrestlers who should've been used better in other companies but didn't do any better in other companies.

THE REAL REASON: The new owner Ari Emmanuel asked Vince McMahon and Dana white to trim the fat from their payrolls 👍. It had nothing to do with either Vince or Dana waking up and deciding to release people. It's the endeavor higher ups telling them to cut dead weight from their payrolls. Which anyone who's not being used on a daily or weekly basis would get removed. So if anything Ari Emmanuel should be in the thumbnail.

@@ssjgotenks2009 Yeah Vince may own 49% , but the other 51% is owned by the Endeavor CEO Ari Emmanuel 👍 . It was Ari Emmanuel's decision to downsize both the WWE and UFC rosters to cut cost. Neither Vince or Dana had a choice because their under contract.

They totally wasted Dolph Ziggler. He was one of their best, and they turned him into an afterthought.
I heard that Mustafa Ali actually requested his release last year, but was denied it. So his release now may have been a mutual agreement. Still, he definitely had talent and could have been a top star.
I do wonder what they're gonna do with Ashanti "Thee" Adonis and B-Fab now that Top Dolla is gone. Obviously, Hit Row is now dead. But will they even use Ashanti and B-Fab?

Shelton is an all-around great talent with top-notch skills! A true legend in his own right! THIS MAN TRAINED BROCK, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I understand their move with him, if it was age-related, but he can go better than 99.9% of the entire roster! For them to let him go vs offering him a producer role backstage is INSANE to me! DEFINITELY hate to see him go, but he would be an absolute goldmine for Tony to help AEW structure better matches vs the flip-fest over there, along with Moxley's boring bloodbath matches! Smh 😮😮😮

Ziggler is one of the best under used wrestlers in WWE. The man can do it. just give him the right angle, the right adversaries, and he can be among the top. I think it's good he was let go, he might grow a bit now and return better than ever.

Yet he never crippled anyone. Mistakes happen in the ring, even guys like AJ Styles have been partially responsible for wrestlers injuries. It's not like he intended for anything to happen.
I am happy to hear that these wrestlers were released as they were chocked out of frustration. Hope they better career somewhere else.

I agree with WWE for releasing these wrestlers. Very accurate. I've been saying it for a long time about all of them except Shelton Benjamin, Ziggler, Elias and Emma that they needed to be released. Good job WWE.
It's a shame for WWE to release these guys but that could give them better opportunities elsewhere. There could be a positive out of this.
Triple H's creative decisions have had a negative impact on several careers, including those of Dolph Ziggler,Madcap Moss, Baron Corbin, Boogs, Street Profits (although they have recently returned to TV), and more. It's also worth noting the frustration caused by his rehiring of superstars, only to neglect their booking entirely.
