Hi James! Thank you for all your amazing analysis and decklists. Your deck runs 4 nest balls, i was thinking of swapping one for 1 water energy just for wellspring. Do you think thats okay or should i always pair it with a thorton too? Thanks!

Hi again! I’ve been testing out the deck and I notice it’s a bit tough to fight frosslass decks. I’m thinking we’d have to rely on wellspring’s second attack to nuke it?
Also im still learning how to properly use bloodmoon. Is there a best time to use it? I end up using it too late when they’re at 1-2 prizes.

Chi yu seems very good vs froslass and yeah wellspring could be good too. Ursaluna can be used whenever it makes sense to power it up. Usually when they can't one hit it back or it's clearing a big threat

@@Alloutblitzle i hear you. I guess some problems come up when i can’t kill them with one hit (i.e. dragapult, gholdengo, etc). I guess I’d just have to penny loop them.
Edit: most frosslass decks run greninja, and ursa just insta dies. Im thinking i need to use survival cast to 2 shot it or i have to just CC lock frosslass

I know it can be tough to hit the wrong side of variance but there's always another event and you're going to have plenty of chances in the future. Don't beat yourself up too much. :)

I get you with the thing about playing well but getting the wrong end of the stick in terms of luck. I also got put out of top22 eu from getting double donked with pidgeot control both games for 2 rounds putting me out of top8 contention. Next season is the season

Seeing how much raging bolt was gonna be at the tournament I loved seeing Farigiraf ex on stream but I definitely agree switching to it last minute probably wouldn’t pay off.

Would you mind explaining how luxray helps vs Lugia? And why it’s better than zard?

You can use it so much earlier in the game to chase rats or arch depending on the situation. Your gameplan is still to create a boardstate where bloodmoon can sweep. Rad zard isn't bad it's just redundant with ursaluna

He mentioned it briefly in the video but short version is to try to lost zone threats to Luna then Luna sweep. So get rid of driftloon, scream tail, etc.
Also if the garde player doesn't bump lost city you can try to chase kirlia.
